    My wife and I bought a new BMW X3 from Leith BMW in Raleigh. We were in the market for a small SUV and our final choices narrowed down to BMW X3 and Audi Q5. Both vehicles were very impressive and had a range of amenities; the pricing was also similar. Finally, we selected X3 for the sport/comfort/eco option, and the somewhat better interior design, finesse and comfort. We also thought that the navigation system was better in X3. Our sales consultant Barry Frucht at Leith BMW was a natural ally in our selection process. Barry has a very pleasing demeanor and he gave us a refreshingly stress-free and fulfilling car buying experience. Barry understands the potential customers very well; he certainly understood us. After giving us a couple of test drives on X3 and X1, he allowed us the space to arrive at our decision. Barry gave a ball park price, which I knew was near the so-called ‘true’ market price that could be assessed from several websites. With Barry, there were no annoying stage-managed visits to the sales manager and worse, the grand entry of a sales manager who would go on to explain how our lives would be changed, forever, by having a BMW in our porch. Instead, Barry politely sent us a few emails on different options we have. We took a few days off, assessed our options and went back to Barry, who was glad to work with us to close the deal. Having visited several dealerships, we think Barry Frucht at Leith BMW has a 21st century car sales model. Barry correctly assumed that – we know a few things about BMW, we know what we are looking for, we know there are awfully wonderful competing cars in the same price range, we use the internet, we know difference between the sticker price and the invoice, we can (and will) use the internet to find the ‘true’ market price, we know we can buy a car from another dealer/city or even through the internet, and so forth and so on. Most importantly, Barry understands that customers need space when making an important decision. Top marks to Barry!

    I want to give Mark five stars for the exceptional service and quality care in the purchase of my new BMW 320i. I am a senior BMW buyer and have bought many cars from Leith BMW. I have been in a BMW product since 1990. I was a senior in College when my husband surprised me with my first BMW again 3 series. I have owned the 5 series, two black on black convertibles, I bought an X 5 the first year they came out on the market, a Z3 bright blue, and now my fourth three series sedan. I love my BMW and my sales experience with Mark Nelson was excellent.

    My wife & I purchased a 2017 BMX X1 from Leith BMW. We can tell you that this was significantly insirede by the relationship we developed with Henry Caldwell & John McDougald. We currently own several older model BMW's, and we went by the dealership to get a second key made for one of our older models, a 2001 325XI wagon. When leaving the parts department that day, we began speaking with Henry, who is a super nice man. He took time to talk with us, even though we weren't looking to buy. We just sat and talked BMW's for a little while. He then walked us out to our car and welcomed us to stop back by anytime we wanted to look at or test drive, or even just sit and talk about BMW's. He really has a passion for BMW's. We came back to pick our key up the following week and once again spent a a little bit of time talking with Henry. This time we discussed the possibility of a future purchase, once we sold some other vehicles that we had. Again, he said stop by anytime, even if just to talk about BMW's. We did come by one Saturday to begin talking to Henry about a possible purchase, as we had moved one of our other vehicles. Henry happened to be off this day so John, who sits at the desk next to Henry, offered to help us sine Henry was off. He showed us around, offered several different options, including the X1. We were really there to look into purchasing a 330 xDrive. Upon discussing what our needs were, he suggested looking at to at least look at the X1, and we fell in love with it. Turned out that somebody had put a deposit on the vehicle we wanted. We decided to come back on Monday, as we had dinner plans to attend. Monday we came back, this time with my Brother who is now interested in buying a BMW as well. John stepped up to assist my brother, and the two them are still working on a deal. Meanwhile Henry began working on finding another option for my wife and I. As it later turned out, the person that had put down the deposit backed out, so we ended up purchasing the X1 we wanted in the first place. On to financing and we meet with another great employee, Brian Winters. He was very thorough with explaining everything to us, and he took the time to explain some extended warranty and maintenance programs. He explained many different options, in both term and mileage, as well as helped us to understand the details so we could make an informed decision. I never felt pressured to choose any options, and we did choose to purchase some extra coverage's. After the deal was done, Henry was still waiting for us until after the dealership closed, so he could walk us out and be sure we were completely comfortable before we drove away. We never in any way ever felt rushed or pressured, from the time we first talked to Henry, until the night we closed the deal and Henry was with us until after close. One more final recognition to Henry and how he values his customers. Our second key was accidentally locked in another salesman's desk the night we closed on our X1. Henry called me the next day when he found it and said "I will bring your key to you today". He did exactly that. He brought it to our house after we finished work. He again asked if we had any questions, and said to feel free to call him on his cell phone if we did. I can tell you that we feel like we made a couple new friends, and not just met a couple of car salesman. When we are ready to buy again, we will definitely be calling either Henry and/or John. This was the best car purchasing experience we have ever had. Every other car dealership we had ever been to made us feel unimportant and insignificant, basically just a number to them. That would include Honda, Toyota, Chevy, etc. When somebody goes to a BMW dealership, they should expect a much better experience, as we had with Henry, John and Brian. Thank you, Neil & Rachael R.

    I recently purchased a 2014 BMW 335i from Leith BMW and was helped by Henry Caldwell. I was looking for a pretty hard to come by combo it turns out. There just aren't many BMW's with a 6 cylinder and a manual transmission now a days. So when I found one for sale at Leith I called up and was connected with Henry who was very helpful and easy to work with. He was quick to answer a text or be ready to answer a phone call and assisted with every step in the process. His passion for BMW and their cars was very evident. His knowledge about this car and BMW's in general was helpful in my decision. I would recommend Henry Caldwell to anyone who wants a great experience when purchasing a BMW. Leith itself has a friendly staff and had an easy to use website. The final sales price was fairly represented by the website, by Henry, and by the Finance department.

    John was incredibly professional through every step of the process of getting our 2017 X5 5.0 at Leith. He made it fun to build the car, He made the paperwork easy and he made myself and my fiance feel very comfortable. I would recommend Leith BMW as a dealership and I would rate John as one of Leith's best employees, based upon quality of service, knowledgeability, professionalism, attitude and follow up.

    Henry Caldwell - First rate professional as always! Honest, trustworthy and simply a decent human being who I enjoy being around. Henry just helped me purchase my mother's X1 that was coming off lease in Florida which I wanted to buy because the buyout and mileage was so low, it would make a great third family car. Henry was not going to make anything in commissions on this deal yet he acted as professionally and with the same attention to detail as if I was buying a new 750. Henry is an example of what all car sales professionals should strive to be. As long as he is working at Leith BMW, we will continue to buy BMWs (we also bought an Infiniti from him when he worked there). Thanks Henry!
