Easy transaction. Ken was friendly and prompt at returning calls and emails. Very little willingness to negotiate, but price was fair and quality of vehicle was excellent. Good overall experience for a small dealership.

High pressure sales
Came in to buy a sedan and wanted to make sure the stroller fit in the trunk. it barely fit. I told the sales person I wanted to think about it. He wouldn't give me any space to think about it and kept pushing me to buy it. I needed a car bad and let his pressure get the best of me. I wanted to return it a few days later. Management said nope!! So im trading it in at a different dealership and they(auto outlets) let me know just how overpriced they sold me that car. Worse than driving a new car off the lot!!!!! Won't ever go back to summit view auto.

On Tuesday, Max came to our dealership to look at an Accord sedan. He was greeted by a sales rep and spent near an hour and a half going through the vehicle, driving around the lot, checking front and rear room and trunk space; all the while taking pics and video for his wife with his phone while talking with her on it. He was clear that he was looking at a van in Canandaigua and would be in touch with us one way or the other. We took time to appraise his Civic trade, thanked him for the opportunity, and off he went. Later that evening, Max texted his original rep that he was purchasing the van he went to look at, and thanked us for our time. On Wednesday, approx. 2p, Max called the dealership in a panic because he couldn't get ahold of his sales rep via text, and it was explained to him that it was his day off. Max then proceeded to tell the new rep on the phone that he would be in at 4p to pick our Accord up, and if it wasn't ready then "the deal is off". So we had the vehicle inspected, recleaned, insurance called in, paperwork printed, all done by 3:30p per his request. Max called just shy of 4p and said that the weather was too bad, that he would be in on Thursday afternoon to pick it up. On Thursday, approx. 3:30p, Max showed up and went through the car again, drove it again, checked stroller space with the new rep, and came inside to sign paperwork. Before anything was signed, he asked the rep what his options were if he got the car home and didn't like it, and it was clearly explained that he had no option to return it, that we express absolutely no return or exchange policy: when you sign, you own. Max's response was, "OK, Let's do this". After signing all the paperwork, a delivery checklist was gone through with him to make sure all the equipment worked and he knew how to operate everything. We noticed that a weather strip around the door was torn, and we wrote up a we-owe to replace it at his convenience at our service dept. Both Max's initial rep and his second rep were here at that time, and Max thanked them both for everything, stating that he would recommend us to all his friends. On Monday afternoon, Max called and spoke with the Store Manager regarding his options to return the car, and it was reiterated that there was no return or exchange policy, but he could absolutely trade it towards a different vehicle on the lot. Max asked if there were any Odysseys on the lot, and he was told there were 5 to choose from; he said he would look at them online and the call ended. At no time was Max ever pushed or pressured or bullied. At no time was Max ever asked for a deposit, all movement was initiated by his request. Summit View Auto prides themselves on having very specific processes in place to make sure that a client is absolutely clear on what they are purchasing, what they are signing, and the specifics involved financially. The staff at Summit View Auto takes their jobs very seriously, acting professionally and proficiently, and the 30+ years of return clients proves that.
Repeat customer
Dan was our sales person this time for me and my wife looking for our 2nd car from Summit View Auto. Our first experience was about 3 years ago and it was great. Again we had excellent service from Dan with choosing a car we wanted and the follow up after the sale. Two cars in 3 years with two different sales people and both quality sales representatives. By the way we still have our 1st car from them we just needed a second one. Highly recommended if you are looking for a vehicle Summit View is the place to go. If there is a need for another vehicle in the up coming years I know where I will be going. I will tell others about Summit View.

Above and beyond exceptions customer service
Ginger was polite and courteous from day one I was interested in purchasing a Porsche from summit auto. She sent me pictures and additional videos to ease my anxiety about purchasing an out of state automobile. I flew in and she picked me up from the airport personally. Additionally months later when I didn’t revive the title (due to moving and not having my mail fwd) she went above and beyond to find how to rectify situation so that I can have everything I needed. Extremely helpful,prompt,and friendly service
Ken helped me to get the 2013 tundra I was eyeing. I live over 3 hours away, and was a little nervous about driving so far. However , after makeing the trip I couldn’t have been happier . He worked with me to get the payments I wanted. Made my family and I feel right at home when we got there . And overall the car buying experience was quick and enjoyable.
