    I hate buying from Dealerships. HATE. The English language does not contain words adequate enough to express my intense loathing. That is, until I went to Sport Honda of Silver Spring. I am happy to admit that I am a COMPLETE convert, thanks entirely to salesman Mike Canter at the Silver Spring Sport Honda. I found myself in need of buying a new car after mine was totaled in a hit and run accident. The physical and emotional pain I endured in the aftermath was compounded by my trepidation at having to engage with a dealership for new car. From the very start, Mike was prompt, thorough, knowledgeable and engaged. Not once, from the moment we first connect to the moment I drove off the lot in my new car, did I ever feel pressured or as if I was getting “the run around”. I knew the specific vehicle I wanted going in (right down to the color) and Mike worked hard to find me one, which had to be transferred in from another location. I was also completely impressed with the “warranty offer” side of the experience. At this point in the process, we were exhausted and I was in pain and dying to be done and heading home and bracing for the “spiel” about extended warranties and fabric protection and maintenance packages, etc, etc. We sat with Mr. Drish (who is possibly THE friendliest person you’ll ever meet) for about a total of ten minutes. He graciously and *gently* offered the packages they provide, we declined and that was it. No pressure, no repeat offerings, no high energy sales pitches. We simply declined and chatted about a beautiful picture hanging in his office while he printed off the final forms. I am a Honda girl and Sport Honda of Silver Spring is the ONLY place I will ever purchase a vehicle, period. I unreservedly give them a 5 Star Rating. If there were a 6 Star Rating, I’d give them that.

    I did plenty of research on SUVs. Honda was always at the top of my list. I wanted to make sure my child would be safe in any vehicle. The 2017 CRV Touring model is classy and powerful at the same time just like me! After being in contact with several Honda dealerships in the area I decided to just walk in to Sport Honda. I am a tough cookie and don play when it comes to cars. Greeted by several upon arrival only one managed to hear me and listen to me and my Boss ( My 2year old Daughter) Mr. Crane was very easy to talk to and took care in listening to me. He was such a bright light and very knowledgeable without being forceful and/or dismissive. I phone him the next business day and he was able to get me in the same day. Buying a car is not easy to do when you have a toddler in tow. Never once was her put off by my daughter being with me. As a single mom that spoke volumes about him. After working with him I then worked with Mr. Buddy He is full of knowledge and such a kind spirit. The service department staff were equally amazing. They were respectful, kind, professional, gentleman and a bunch of fun. I can be very matter of fact at times. They handled my request to have all extras installed at one time and on the same day. This was huge because I don't own a second vehicle and I didn't want to be without mine new vehicle for an extended period of time. Let's just say the Staff at Sport Honda have made my Christmas card list as well as my prayer list. Total Rock Stars!!!

    I had a very particular request - a white Fit LX with manual transmission. I checked with three dealers in the area and Sport was the only dealer who was responsive and said they could get the car I wanted within 24 hours. I am not an experienced car shopper and usually want the cheapest model available, but I still had a relatively "easy" and respectable experience at Sport. Salesman, Mark Kahler, worked with me online and seemed just as excited as I was that I was getting a new car. I got my white Fit with stick shift (6 gears!!) at a price that was "fair" (although I am never quite sure what costs are real, what costs are inflated and what costs are buried). I will recommend Sport Honda to friends and family and look forward to using the service center on EW Hwy when I need oil changes, etc.

    I always bring my Honda in for service. Every time I've come, jack has always given PHENOMENAL customer service. He's a honest service advisor that gets the job done. When he tells you an approximate time, he meets those expectations ! I'm worry free that everything will go great everytime I bring my car in, in a timely manner

    I did my research first, on the vehicle I wanted. When I went to the Dealer there was no pressure to buy, I knew what I wanted to so that helped. This was the only dealer that would quote me a price on line. I wish more were like that. So I am a sport fan too. I test Drove the Accord '17 4 cylinder but went with the 6 cylinder. My Sales Rep. Had very good knowledge of the products on the Lot she was able to educate me on all the new technology in the car I had chosen. Definatly will be looking at them for future purchases(In 5 years lol) glad I got a car with 2 more cylinders. :D

    Only 4 stars not necessarily due to dealer issues but manufacture issues. I have been wanting a Ridgeline for long time and when the new model came out without the sloping sides I said now's the time. After purchasing the vehicle through our credit union with all options I wanted our pickup date was set. As soon as we looked at it my wife noticed a small ding in the door edge. The sales person promised to have that fixed so we agreed. The next day we were on way to work and got two blocks and all the indicators and alarms were going off and the engine was sputtering and shaking idling at the corner. We managed to get back home and called Sport Service, they came to pick it up that day. The next day they found the computer indicated the oil pump was pumping to much oil and was causing many other issues. They replaced the pump and we picked it up. Three days passed, I then noticed a oil leak and the dealer came and picked it up again and after looking at it again could find no oil leak. I told them to keep it until they did. After 4 days and service manager driving it over the weekend they found the seal had been rolled causing the leak. We did try and return the vehicle but after working with them and how professional the sales and service department handled the situation we decided to keep the Ridgeline. Two issues I have the Ridgeline, 1. the cabin fan noise on the second level seems to be excessive and running it in auto the fan never goes below the second level. 2. I think Honda could have more indicators as to what the AC and Fans are doing when in Automatic. They show nothing, if AC is on, fan speed or temperature setting or reading. One minor option Honda should provide is the choice between digital or analog speed'o'meter, you only get digital. All in all I think Sport Honda is a good dealer to work with. This vehicle was the first time for buying a new vehicle from Honda, not sure we do it again. Time will tell. B

    I'm a very particular car shopper doing a lot of research and comparisons before I go out and buy and Sport Honda always ends up at the top of my list. They offered me a great price (better than other dealerships I received quotes from) and had a sales style that was professional and personal making my purchasing experience an enjoyable one. I'm turned off by aggressive dealers and Sport Honda was anything but. They were attentive but not pushy answering my questions and working with me and my timeline. Highly recommended.
