I am disappointed as a customer of Blue Springs Hyundai since 2008. My 2016 Hyundai Elantra somehow got a small hole in the oil pan and caused the engine to quit working and endangered my like on January 3, 2026. It is costing me a great deal of my savings to get a new engine and it just had 74,600 miles total. The technician did not seem to care that my car would need a week to repair. I do not want another Hyundai car.

Me and my girlfriend is on disability they got us approved for a brand new Hyundai Elantra we had a great salesman name Sean got us approved in 2 minutes with no money down thank you McCarthy of Blue springs for going extra mile for us we really appreciate it and amy the works in part of the finance department was very nice and helpful thank off you guys every body and this dealership was very nice

If I could give them a negative rating I would. I bought a 2020 Hyundai Palisade and since I've had it, it has had issues with engine hesitation on inclines and shutting off at stop lights. I took it into McCarthy Hyundai and was shocked at how much they do not care about their customers (my dad was a service manager for most my life and would never allow service like this)! My first experience they gave me an estimate for 2275.00 in repairs needed. One of the repairs had to do with the carbon chamber cleaning and it needing a cleaning that they claimed is a "maintenance issue" you have to do every couple of years that costs 799.00. I asked why would this be considered maintenance if its not included in a regular maintenance plan, they had no answer. They also recommended a 3 stage fuel system service for 274.00 and several other things including a battery replacement for 555.00. I paid for the battery and ended up paying for the carbon chamber cleaning and spent 1267.67 and not even a week later I was still having the engine hesitation. I called the service advisor several times and left messages and I called the service manager and left a message. Weeks went by and still never heard from them. Their GM Ryan Foster also never returns calls! I would not buy a car from here and beware if you have to have your vehicle serviced here!!! Do not expect a phone call back from them.

Car broken into while in dealer possession. Since they obviously don’t have a complete garage keeper insurance policy (just liability), I am on the hook for ALL window replacement costs. They also have no interest in doing what’s best for the customer who entrusted them with the care of his car. Would encourage others to consider other service departments in the KC area to avoid such situations.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO MCCARTHY HYUNDAI … Especially Blue Springs GO TO REED HYUNDAI KANSAS… 1. My car sat for a week and this guy Andrew in services told me he would check on it for me , needless to say after week had gone by they still hadn’t even looked at my car, by the end of this and after I still decided that I would continue to do business with them Andrew in services charges me for 2 Diagnostic look covers after I had already received an email statement for the price… TRUST ME GO TO THERE WEBSITE LOOK AT THE BAD REVIEWS EVERYONE SAYS THE SAME THINGS !!!

This is the worst dealer I have ever worked with or in the top two. Ryan Foster is not an honest person and will lie to you continually. It took over two months for me to receive my registration. They overcharged me for my Registration by $600 dollars! Then when I called them out on it, they only sent me a refund of $400. They still owe me $200 dollars. The Salesman Q left Popeye's chicken handprints all over the entire car I purchased. The experience was so negative with them, after driving, 200 miles, to buy, that I already got rid of the car, after two months! They made me hate the car I bought, because of all the headaches they put me through. They ripped me off on my trade! And the FINANCE guy, after me driving 2+ hours wanted to go through this huge diatribe trying to sell me all these additionals!! Don't buy them, they are way overpriced! They knew they were ripping me off, because when I drove onto the lot everyone in there knew I was coming. It was kind of surreal. I will be turning them into the Missouri DOT. Missouri AG office. Missouri Consumer Protection Division. These people stole money from me! And they won't make any of this right!

The service department has been totally unreliable for quite sometime. I have given it a try recently and was very dissatisfied. Given the run a round. Will not return!
