The salesperson (Tom Drzal) and the general manager (Norm Caruolo) were extremely helpful and, despite a few hiccups with which car I was going to purchase,... both Tom and Norm made sure they did everything to ensure I was a happy customer. They not only provided me with the vehicle I wanted, but also financing that worked within my budget. They were very responsive when I called and, if I left a message, they always returned my calls in a timely manner. Their efforts were greatly appreciated. Tony was also helpful with the financing/leasing process. Everyone I dealt with during the process was professional and kind. I would definitely recommend the dealership to others.
Great overall experience, Emmett was a patient non-pushy rep. Working with the team I got what I was looking for overall. The manager Norman was great... to work with an took the time to price up multiple options plus walked me through the specific details of his math when I challenged the logic of the lease model. No hiding behind the desk :) They could hand out more "swag" to a customer when picking up a new car.
I normally don’t write reviews but after my experience with Fathers and Sons in West Springfield I felt compelled to share my experience. My Salespersons... name was Derek. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. We took a test drive in the 2007 BMWxi I was looking at and quickly came to an agreement on price. Afterwards, I realized that since the car was barely ready to be shown they probably would have rubbed out some of the dings that the car had. I called Derek the next day and asked if he would have their “ding guy” fix the dings he could. Even though the sale was already finalized and he didn’t have to, Derek took it upon himself to go the extra mile and looked into it for me. Sure enough he was able to get the Dealership to fix the dings even though it was going to be extra time and expense on their part. Then 3 days after having the car the service engine soon light came on. They offered to drive me a loaner all the way to Meriden CT where I work and bring my car back to fix it. I again notice a problem with the lumbar switch popping off/broken. At this point I was dealing with the service department and ended up dealing with a Sales Manager/Rep named Kevin. I explained the problem to Kevin and he agreed to try and have it fixed for me. Since this was not a safety issue, they were under no obligation to fix this $400 item. None the less, Kevin came through for me and didn’t charge me a dime. By the next day my car was delivered back to me at my workplace in Connecticut and the loaner was taken back. What can I saw but WOW! I can’t remember the last time a company was willing to so far above and beyond just to make things right. Even after the sale! If your ever in the market for a car and want to deal with a dealership that truly understands Quality 1st class service, Fathers and Sons is the place to go.
I'm extremely happy with the service I received while recently purchasing my new car. It was an enjoyable, not stressful, experience during this. Unlike... most car buying experiences. Staff is knowledgeable and very willing to answer or find the answer to any question I may have had whether big or small. Joe DeLiso was phenomenal, knowledgeable, prompt, and very accommodating. Tony in finance was awesome in explaining and laying out the details of my financing in which he found the best interest rate for. Never once did I ever feel that my questions, etc. were bothersome or pressured. Because of the great staff and experience, my parents who are also looking to buy a car, are turning to Joe DeLiso and the staff for this. I highly recommend Fathers and Sons Volvo to those who are looking for that "enjoyable experience without pressure." I will definitely be a return customer in years to come.
I despise car shopping and have no tolerance for car salesman. Joe has changed my opinion. He is Not only knowledgeable but considerate and kind and Patient.... I donâ€™t expect he will be there long as he is wise beyond his years and will be moving on to grander adventures! Truly a fun car shopping experience.
Fathers and Sons is a great dealer and they have a wonderful service dept. I highly recommend them without hesitation. Easy to work with and honest.
Went to buy a car and when we went to write out the price there were 499 documentation fees and then they added on another 135$ to register the car get... the inspection and transfer plates. I have no idea why there wpuld be documentation fees if they dont go towards any of the documentaions fees?
Negative experience with this dealership - did not feel management staff were honest or responsive. Won't buy from them again.
I went to Volvo to see a Audi but I didn't end up taking it home but I was impressed with the salesman tom a older gentleman he was very down to earth... and very helpful and I felt no pressure from him at all and I much enjoy the experience even though I did not end up with the car
5.0 star rating 8/9/2016 OUTSTANDING Dealer! I purchased a pre-owned car from Fathers and Sons Audi and the service was amazing. I live in St. Louis... and they took additional pictures of the car for me and described it in great detail so I felt comfortable before flying to pick it up. When I showed up, it was exactly as described and I was in and out of the dealer in less than an hour. It probably would have been even less time, but my salesman was helping me get free tickets to a local attraction in town. Vinnie and Chuck, my sales team, were OUTSTANDING! I might just have to fly to MA every time I want to buy a car now!!!
