Where do you find a salesperson who sticks with you for over a month, looking to find the perfect car? That person would be Kendall Richards at Sewell MINI. I first contacted him when i found the BMW that I wanted, and unfortunately (or fortunately) it was sold the next day. Kendall then went through various auctions to find the right car, right year, right configuration, and eventually the right price. He then walked me through getting the car certified (adding a year to the warranty), negotiating a price (fair) and even a maintenance contract. This is not your normal dealership or salesperson. If you want a used car, call Kendall at Sewell.

Great Place to Buy a Mini Cooper
I have purchased over 50 cars in my life, and NEVER did a dealer feedback review . . . Until now with Sewell Mini of Plano! Purchased a 2016 used Clubman last week and was totally impressed with the sales person (Hunter), his boss (Michael), inventory selection, facilities and price/value. This was the second Mini purchased from this dealer: foolishly traded it (2015 4 door hardtop) and after a year wanted to buy another. Shopped 5 other dealers, and tried 8 Minis. Ended up at Sewell and made the purchase because of my good experience in the past (sales & Service) and they had the best deal! Price was very competitive (but you should not take their initial ?list? price too seriously), car was certified (100,000 miles or 7 years), great repair facilities, nice people, and location (next to Costco . . . can shop while service is completed).

A dealer even a skeptic can trust
I generally have a very skeptical view of car dealerships; however, Sewell Mini in Plano - and particularly Fred Price - have made me a believer. I live out of state and have been the worst type of buyer - wishy washy and too distracted by work to make a decision. But throughout the process Mr. Price as been extremely helpful, available for my repeated questions, and has made the car buying process an easy and comfortable experience. I seriously could not be happier. Thank you!

Best Ever
I couldn't be happier with our whole experience. We found the perfect car at Sewell Mini, but live out of state. They took care of everything for us, down to picking us up at the airport. Easiest experience I have ever had buying a car. Loved working with them!

Started out great
I was really impressed at first. They had just gotten a used mini in that I wanted and they told me that they had to clean it up and service it but they were holding it for me. A few days later when I checked in with my sales guy, they had sold it. I bought my car elsewhere because of that. A simple call would have been nice, or even just an apology or explanation.

Not much service for a service company
I usually don't bother with these types of reviews but as I continue to see Sewell tout its amazing customer service and attention to detail, I have become that much more irritated. Many years ago, my now wife was in the market for a new Lexus and contacted Sewell after hearing about everything they claim to do to make a "Customer for Life". Without going into a ton of detail, Sewell tried to overcharge her and lock her into an unfavorable time table for the same vehicle offered by multiple dealers. She ended up getting the vehicle from Park Place and over the years has leased an additional two Lexus vehicles from Park Place. That bit of a back story brings us to our current date. This year, I was diagnosed with cancer and began chemotherapy. I owned a 2014 high end Chevrolet Silverado but with the high price of chemotherapy and medical bills, I was in the market to downsize and find something more fuel efficient. I have always liked the look of the MINI Countryman and even though my wife had a negative experience with Sewell, I decided to give them a shot a few months ago. I went to the MINI dealership in Plano for a test drive and to let the Pre-Owned sales people know I was in the market for a vehicle. I really enjoyed driving the vehicle and was ready to buy. The salesman I was dealing with introduced me to the general manager and they both promised me that they would find me the vehicle I was looking for in short order. After a couple of weeks of no contact from the salesman, I contacted him to see if he had made any progress in finding a vehicle. He told me he was sorry for not contacting me sooner and that he had not found anything to that point. He told me he would keep looking and that I should hear from him soon. To this day, I have never heard a word from Sewell MINI of Plano. Being a salesman myself, I knew that with the lack of communication and follow up, Sewell had no interest in making me a "Customer for Life". I'm sure if I wanted to purchase a new, luxury vehicle they would have fallen all over themselves to make something happen but not for a guy looking to downsize and save a little money. I did find a 2014 Countryman at another dealership in the Dallas area and am very pleased with my purchase. Its sad to see so many big companies these days tout their amazing customer service and do absolutely nothing to back it up. Moving forward, Sewell will not be in my list of companies to do business with and I will make sure to let my friends and family know that Sewell is a lot of talk without much to back it up.

greatness in the business!
Hands down, kind and caring people... they went out of the way to keep us happy even though it was not to their advantage. Mike and Adrian and Kevin are the people to know. don't even question that you will be taken care of at Plano mini. they def know how to make everyone int he car business want to be like them, Thank you for your time and efforts, 5 stars!

Surprising Exceptional Customer Service
Fixed my leak without the usual run around I've had at another Mini service center. They didn't try to sell me on parts or services that weren't needed and seemed genuinely concerned that my car was having the malfunction that it was. The level of customer appreciation and care is beyond compare! I am a Sewell customer for life because of how well they take care of their customers after the car is bought!

Got more than expected
We arrived at 5:30 dealership was scheduled to close at 6. The sale person, his manger and the finance guy stayed until 8:30 to take of us. They matched the price of the best deal of similar vehicle we found at 2 other dealerships. They followed up in a timely manner, went over the car with us, and have stayed in-touch after the sale.
