Dealing with Toyota of Orlando has been one of the worst

Dealing with Toyota of Orlando has been one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. I originally brought my 2024 GR Corolla in for a minor noise issue, but somehow it turned into an alleged “clutch problem.” After consulting with several other trusted mechanics in the area, they all confirmed my clutch had normal wear and was perfectly fine to drive. However, Toyota of Orlando insisted there was a major issue. Their customer service is atrocious. I attempted to contact them via email to get clarification, and they completely ignored me. On top of that, they want me to pay $1,500 just to put my car back together after they took it apart to “inspect” the problem. They even had me sign a paper locking me into paying this absurd fee. This feels like nothing more than a manipulative tactic to trap customers into paying for unnecessary repairs. To add insult to injury, they overcharge on their vehicles and services, so you’re not just getting poor service—you’re being ripped off. It’s beyond unethical, and I would strongly advise anyone to avoid this dealership at all costs. Save yourself the headache and your hard-earned money. Update: 10/21/2024 Still no response from the dealership. If you're reading this, do yourself a favor and avoid Toyota of Orlando.

Dealing with Toyota of Orlando has been an absolute

Dealing with Toyota of Orlando has been an absolute nightmare. I initially brought my 2024 GR Corolla in for a simple noise issue, and somehow it escalated into a "clutch problem." After consulting with multiple reputable shops in the area, I was told that my clutch showed normal wear and was perfectly fine to drive. Yet, this dealership insisted otherwise. On top of that, their customer service is non-existent. I tried to reach out via email to discuss the situation, and they never even bothered to respond. As if that wasn't enough, they are now demanding I pay $1,500 just to reassemble my car after they took it apart to "check" the issue. They even made me sign a paper to trap me into paying this outrageous amount. This is nothing short of shady and manipulative. To make matters worse, they mark up their vehicles and services, so you're paying a premium for terrible service. It's disgusting and unethical. I'll be making sure everyone I know stays far away from Toyota of Orlando. Don't waste your time, money, or patience at this dealership. DO NOT COME TO THIS DEALERSHIP. Update: 10/21/2024 Still no update from the dealership. If you are reading this review please do not do business with them.

Called and made an appointment with the internet sales

Called and made an appointment with the internet sales manager to purchase a new car he said was in stock, and that they were willing to deal. Drove over 70 miles and when I arrived they said it was pre-order and had already been sold, and they would not go under MSRP for a special order. In my opinion this is a total bait and switch operation, and multiple people other than my direct salesman flat out lied to me to get me to come to this dealership. Fortunately I was able to purchase a new $50K vehicle from Mike Eardman Toyota on the way back home. If your looking for an honest car Toyota dealer in Orlando you might want to travel to the space coast.

I have owned Toyota trucks since 2006 and I have to say

I have owned Toyota trucks since 2006 and I have to say Toyota of Orlando has been the worst experience of my life. I traded a 2022 Tacoma to a 2024 Tacoma and from the beginning of the transaction with Jose until the end has been a very poor experience. No communication and was told that if my 2022 bed cover did not fit, they would have it ready for me to take home. My wife and I had to make 3 phone calls to find out if it would fit before finding out it did not. Then wanted to charge me for removing the old cover after I purchased a 60K truck. I do not recommend nor will I return. I’ve had great experiences with other Toyota dealerships, but to say this one was disappointing is an understatement.

I decided to give Toyota another chance, and what a mistake that turned out to be! My wife and I drove all the way from Cocoa Beach to check out both the Lexus GX 550 and the Land Cruiser, as she needs more space since her Porsche Macan is simply too small for our family. After a wonderful experience at Lexus of Orlando, we thought we’d take a short drive to visit a Toyota dealership, which was our second option for a new vehicle. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The salesperson I encountered was unprofessional and dismissive, making comments like: “You know that’s the most expensive car we have,” and “We can show you the interior, but only if you’re ready to sit down and discuss numbers.” When I asked to see the vehicle, he said, “I can’t get the keys; you can only see the interior through the window.” He even suggested I check out a 4Runner instead. This felt like a blatant disregard for my family and our needs. This is the second time I've encountered such poor customer service at a Toyota dealership, and it makes me wonder if this is a systemic issue. As a result, my decision is clear: I will be taking my business to Lexus. I’ll also look into whether the dealerships are owned by the same company before spending any money.

Nate is awesome.

Nate is awesome. I live in the Tampa area but travel frequently to Daytona. I literally stopped at every single Toyota along the way while car shopping. The only reason I bought with Orlando was because of all the help Nate offered without him being overbearing, demeaning, or pushy. I would shop again with him in the future.

We were met by Jose in the lot and taken immediately to the car we were interested in. He knew all about the car. Jerry assisted with the “numbers” and was very helpful in securing a good deal. Savanah took care of the paperwork and was friendly and knowledgeable. It was by far the best car-buying experience my husband and I have ever had!!

I had an appointment to check out a 2020 tundra, I called

I had an appointment to check out a 2020 tundra, I called again before I left my house to make sure it was still available and the internet sales department said it was. I drove 30 minutes to get there and was met with a sales associate. The internet salesperson I had the appointment with told him to check the back lot for the truck, long story short the truck was in the service bay and we were told we can't go back there and they can't bring it out. I asked if they would at least evaluate my trade and that would determine if I would come back after work the next day. His manager said no because they didn't know if it would sell before I came back. I was fierious because of the fact I called before driving out there and they waisted my time and couldn't careless about me the customer while they had several employees that could have checked the status on that truck I had inquired on.

This dealer sells Sienna's with a $3000 markup on MSRP.

This dealer sells Sienna's with a $3000 markup on MSRP. Central Florida Toyota doesn't. A lot of other Toyota dealers don't mark up either. I would go online to Toyota and use the Toyota smartpath tool. It's on Toyota.com shopping tools. This way, you can buy all online along with knowing what your payments are. Toyota of Orlando do not offer smartpath purchases. Slimey dealership. Avoid and go elsewhere. Shop online using smartpath. You will probably get a better deal.

DEALER DOES NOT HONOR PRICE POSTED ON THE WINDSHILED OF THE CAR. I WENT IN TO THE DEALER LOOKING FOR A CAR. SALESMAN GREATED ME AT THE DOOR AND I SAID YES I AM INTERESTED IN TEH VEHICLE. I ASKED THE NUMBERS ON TEH WINDSHILED IS THAT THE PRICE? THE SALESPERSON ASNWERED YES! THAT IS THE PRICE. i SAID OK GOOD I JUST WANTED TO MAKE SURE ITS THE PRICE OF THE CAR AND NOT SOME RANDOM NUMBERS. i TOLD HIM OK I WOULD LIKE TO BUY IT, SALESMAN RESPONDED LET GO INSIDE AND SEE NUMBERS. WE SITDOWN AND THE MANAGER COMES OVER AND SAYS THE NUMBERS ON THE WINDSHIELD IS NOT THE PRICE OF THE CAR. i ASKED FOR CLARIFICATION. I ASK THE NUMBERS ON THE WINSHIELD IS NOT THE PRICE? HE SAID NO! I SAID BUT THE SALES PERSON SAID IT WAS. THE MANAGER ANSWERED THATS A STICKER AND NOT THE ACTUAL PRICE THE REAL PRICE IS ONLINE. I ASKED IS THAT FALSE ADVERTISEMENT? IT CERTAINLY IS MISLEADING AND IT LOOKS LIKE AN ADVERTISEMENT. WHY WOULD YOU PUT BIG NUMBER STICKERS ON THE WINDSHIELD AND MY SALESMAN CONFIRN IT IS THE PRICE WHEN IT REALLY ISNT? I ASKED TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE ABOVE HIM AND THE MANGER SAID NO! THAT WOULD BE THE OWNER AND HE IS NOT HERE. THE MANAGER OFFERED ME IF I WANTED TO WAIT FOR HIM AND HIS TIME OF ARRIVAL WAS UNKNOWN. I LEFT THE DEALER VERY DISSAPOINTED THAT THE DEALER WOULD NOT HONOR ITS OWN MISTAKE. THAT HAD POSTED THE WRONG PRICE ON THE VEHICLE. THE NUMBERS ON THE WINSHIELD DOES MEAN THE PRICE OF THE VEHICLE BUT IT WAS THE WRONG PRICE. THE DEALER DID NOT OFFER ME ANOTHER VEHICLE OR GIVE ME OTHER OPTIONS, MAYBE WE COULD HAVE MEET HALF WAY ON THE PRICE BETWEEN THE ACTUAL PRICE AND THE INCORRECT PRICE, MAYBE. I WILL NOT RECOMENT THIS DEALER, I WILL TELL EVERYONE NOT TO COME HERE AND BEWARE OF PRICE CHANGE
