    I went to the dealer know what car I wanted & how much I wanted to spend. The car was sold before I even showed up. And the salesman did his job. He sold me a car. But not without countless mishaps along the way. Finance messed up paperwork. They let me transfer tags on a vehicle that I needed to get new tags for. Return phone calls & e-mails were Not timely or helpful. I even had a coupon that Subaru themselves issue for a free coffee mug & gift card that they sent to the wrong address. These are just a few of the little things that were avoidable during this transaction that were the results of someone not doing their job completely. And all of these little mishaps have added up to leave a nasty impression. Buying a car is supposed to be a happy, exciting thing. This experience has left me furious that I didn't get up & leave this dealership the first moment I felt something was going wrong. I have the car I want. I go to work to pay for the car. I shouldn't have to do work to make the transaction happen like this. I expected more. I don't even want to go there for free oil changes for my first year.

    So I've already wrote about my experience with the purchase of my new vehicle and I forgot to mention the guy who other than God that made my deal possible and that would be David G. He was awesome in making this deal come together and made me feel good about buying this car. I didn't feel like I was just another customer and I did not feel I was being taken for like s lot of dealership do women. With that being said to all women who's looking to purchase a vehicle but have a fear for being taken just because you're a woman this is the man to go see. Thanks David G.

    I had a very unexplainable experience at this dealership. From the moment I walked in and was greeted by the team was great. But the main salesman that stuck out was Mr. Sammy he was great from the start until the end of the deal he was just awesome. He treated me and my son great. Because it's been some years since I've bought a car he made the experience little bit more unnerving The only other thing I would say about Mr. Sammey is that you must get him a larger office. (Inside joke) Thank you Mr. Sammy for my experience.

    We worked with Jeremiah Muwanga, the Hyundai Sales Manager, on the purchase of a new car. We were considering both used and new cars. He was very professional and responsive to our requests. He was "no nonsense" on the price and respected the research we'd done. He answered all of our questions about the Hyundai warranty. We did everything regarding the purchase on the phone and mail, except for a test drive by the person receiving the car as a gift.

    My father-in-law and I felt insulted by the Finance & Insurance person, Troy Sawyer at the Downtown Nashville Motors Hyundai dealership the day we purchased a Hyundai Elantra. In our opinion, he was impatient, rude and not customer-oriented. We felt insulted by his statement that my father-in-law was throwing his money away by paying cash for the vehicle. He also refused to respond after he made the statement that the vehicle will depreciate more when financing the vehicle; which is completely untrue. Troy Sawyer never offered GAP Insurance, a dent package or ANY products. He never offered a SINGLE product which is what a good F&I person is SUPPOSED TO DO. We highly recommend not seeing Troy Sawyer in the F&I department for these reasons. We were also told that day that there have been many complaints about him and another customer actually walked out of his office, not buying a vehicle because of their experience with him.

    I really can't imagine having a much worse experience with an oil change. My wife went to get an oil change, and they told her whoever had last changed the oil had messed up big time and stripped the threading on the female end of the oil pan and that it needed to be replaced. Well turns out that the last person who had changed the oil was THEM. As soon as they realized this they attempted to backpedal but they had already admitted to their own mistake...but would not give a complete refund. They claimed the car was now unsafe to drive and would cost $600 to replace the oil pan. And of course they couldn't do it that day so I had to take off work and pick my wife up during rush hour traffic. We then asked when the car would be done the next day and they promised to call us and have it done before rush hour evening traffic the next day. Surprise surprise the car was not done until the heat of rush hour traffic....and that was only after calling 4 times asking when it would be done with multiple unanswered phone calls.

    I really can't imagine having a much worse experience.     Went to the dealership, knowing exactly what I wanted and the deal that I wanted, on a Sunday. The original salesperson, Chris, with whom I had communicated by phone on Friday and Saturday, was not available. However, his supervisor, Michael, was available and provided excellent service. We were able to work out a fair deal, initially, but not exactly what I wanted. He spoke with the finance supervisor, and returned with the deal I wanted. There was a one week time table for the car to arrive in Nashville. But it was actually delivered to the dealership by Wednesday, and I complete the paperwork on Thursday. They worked with my work schedule. There was no pressure during the entire process. They were professional and definitely obvious in their desire for my business and in ensuring that I received top-rate customer service. I have been recommending them to family and co-workers all week. I have experienced good customer care in purchasing cars in the past...but this was great service. I was surprised at some of the negative comments I read when coming to this site to write this review. I must say that it appears most of the negative comments came from the Hundai side of the dealership rather than the Subaru area...don't know if that makes a difference??? At any rate here's hoping that I experience none of these problems when I have my car serviced in the future (did use the service area on my previous Subaru over a year ago and received excellent service during that experience as well). Don't know if I just keep getting the best of their staff each time. But based on my two separate experiences with Nashville Downtown Subaru, the staff and service have been fantastic and I highly recommend them.
