Bought a used Lexus, then afterwards found out the locking system didn’t work on any of the 4 doors. Financial guy strongly suggested that I buy extended... warranty but my experience with Toyota products in the past influenced me not to buy it. Then after the discovery of bad locking system, the financial guy seemed to have developed a bad memory of our previous discussion. Plus this time the only warranty available was a lot more and only covered power train. As I look back, I’m pretty sure the financial guy knew there was a problem with car causing the strong sell attempt for extended warranty. By the way, the repair correction cost well over $2,000. Toyota dealer kept avoiding the problem so had to take it to the Lexus dealership. The list of complaints is too long to go over everything here and now but I’ve gone back to the dealership about 5 times since the purchase of the vehicle with absolutely no help from them. Wouldn’t recommend this dealership to friends or enemies.
Part two Sienna Van: spent $134.00 getting the tires balanced in Michigan. Did feel safe driving the vehicle with a slight hesitation. Returned from... my trip and went back the Herrin-Gear to talk with Mr. Herrin. He listen and said to the General Manage to swap it our. Didn't get it in writing and when I went back in a couple of day the General Manager said I would have trade it in on another vehicle and there would be an additional cost. The General Manager said he could have another Van for me in two day. A week had pass and there was not another Van. Now the GM want his maintenance department for them to do an assessment of the problem. I left if with them and the next day it was still siting where I left it. Mr. Herrin, Herrin-Gear maintenance department, Customer Service are Deployable. Gray Daniel Toyota might be a better choice. Maintenance wise it a difference of day and night.
I recently purchased a pre owned Tahoe from Cade Usry and the used car department at herrin gear Toyota, I wanted to take some time to let everyone know... what a good experience I had. First of all he responded to my initial email in about the amount of time it took me to hit send, he went out of his way to text me additional pictures of the Tahoe, when I came in he already had it pulled down, cleaned up and ready for me to go show my wife. I explained what I had to have for my trade and what I could afford monthly payment wise. I got fair value for my old truck and I'm paying $35 a month less than I had budgeted initially so suffice to say I'm very happy. Cade has followed up with me several times thru phone and email to make sure everything is good. I highly recommend Cade Usry and Herrin-Gear Toyota to anyone in the market for a new car.

Bought an 2017 didn’t detail at purchase, same for the 2020 I paid the $35.00 to have it detailed new car prep is terrible please do better for your customers

I bought my Toyota Highlander in December of 2017. My dealer asked me specifically what I was looking for. Too which I replied push to start with remote... Start also. The vehicle I test drove was not calling to me so he brought out another color, in my excitement I purchased this vehicle forgetting all about my one requirement. While the fault lies entirely with me , I cannot help but to wish I had a more honest salesperson that was more concerned with making sure the customer was satisfied than increasing his sales. Happy customer equals recommendations and repeat buyers. I would never recommend Sara R. Whitehead or Jordan D. Dearman if your best interests are a priority
