CUSTOMER SERVICE

MY WIFE AND I BOUGHT A NEW ACURA MDX. WHILE FILLING OUT THE PAPER WORK,WE PUT HER NAME FIRST ON THE REGISTRATION BUT WE WANTED MY BIRTH MONTH, WE HAVE A VETERANS PLATE.WE HAVE BEEN BACK TO THE DEALER THREE TIMES TO GET THIS REGISTRATION CORRECT. WE EVEN CALLED THE DMV AND THEY SAID ALL THE DEALER HAD TO DO WAS TO PAY 17. DOLARS TO CHANGE IT OVER. THE LAST TIME THEY SENT ME A SCANNED COPY AND ITS STLL WRONG SO I REPLYED THAT I WILL PICK IT UP THE NEXT DAY, AND WE WOULD JUST LEAVE IT WITH MY WIFES BIRTHDAY MONTH. I GO TO GET THE REGISTRATION AND MIKE SAYS I CAN PRINT IT OFF, BUT THE ORIGINIAL IS IN ANOTHE BUILDING 10 MINUTES AWAY AND IT WOULD'T BE AT THE DEALER UNTIL 4:30 OR 5:00. I SENT THE THE NEW CAR MANAGER A NOTE, BUT NEVER GOT A CALL. I CAN SEE WHY THE DEALER HAS A 3.5 RATING.

Great experience!

Was looking for a TLX and they had an A spec demo for

Was looking for a TLX and they had an A spec demo for sale on the lot. Price was good and I had taken it on a test drive. I brought the wife in and she liked it. I told Ashley I wanted to buy it and it was time to talk price. She said since it was used the price listed was the price. Ok, price was fine, go write it up. I look at the contract and underneath tax, tag, title is another fee for $750. This is listed as a dealer fee. I ask what this is and she slides a laminated card across the desk listing a bunch of junk fees. She also tells us they are required by Acura to charge these fees and to pass them on to us. I said so the “price isn’t really the price”, please take this fee off or adjust the sale price. She said she couldn’t do either. I know she is just a minion and the sales manager didn’t let her deal. So I won’t hate on her. At that point we walked out. Then ensued an hour of texting to try and salvage the deal. Nothing was offered to make up for this junk fee. The next day I had to go to Indianapolis, which has two Acura dealers. Hubler Acura in Greenwood got the sale. I also bought a new one. I told my salesman this story and he laughed. He said they charge $250 for this and that the other dealer in Indy charged $500. Hubler also got me the color I wanted. This negotiation was a lot less contentious. Guess which dealer I’m going back to?

Anel was great to work with

Anel was great to work with and went above and beyond to answer any of our questions. We were driving from out of town, and he had the vehicle we were interested pulled up front ready for us to look at. He was very professional and friendly. Everything went very smoothly purchasing our vehicle and he made sure the vehicle was all cleaned and ready for us to drive home!

Be careful

Tried to buy a car today at Huffman, was not allowed to bring my own financing. They wanted to run my credit at their 6 institutions to try and beat my bank. Buyer beware, don’t give your SSN to run your credit 6+ times with these guys.

New TLX

This is my second new car purchase from Neil Huffman Acura and they are easy to work with. Matthew Muchler is the best salesman and he explained the waiting process with getting my new TLX. Every step of the delivery of the vehicle he kept me up to date and even let me know when there was a delay in deliveries. Everything with the purchasing process was smooth and seamless. In and out within an hour the day I picked up my car. Thanks again to the staff at Neil Huffman Acura.
