I submitted a message of interest in a 2009 Honda Ridgeline listed under the dealer. A reply was quickly sent and a phone call was received from a sa...lesman at the dealer who was very courteous. He asked if I had any questions concerning the vehicle. I told him I was going to look at a vehicle at a dealer closer to Akron, but I would get back to him if I did not purchase from the other dealer. I did not visit to see the vehicle at Honda of Mentor, and ultimately purchased the vehicle at the
Nick did a wonderful job helping me with the purchase of my new car, he was patient and listened to my needs to help select my new car.
Jennifer Domenich is the ONLY reason I go to Honda Mentor service, she's the best, always smiling, luvs her customers and always smells good....makes ...you feel like your being hugged by Mom!
Very bad customer service. Didn't have a good experience when I went in to get a remote start installed in my car. The service rep didn't even greet m...e. Later when doing the paperwork she asked me how much did we quote for. I said $400 out the door. That's the amount that Joe gave me on the phone. But I found out later that it was $400 plus tax, shop supplies etc... making it $427. They never told me that they will charge $20 for a loaner car. They should have told me this on the phone when I scheduled the appointment. That made it $447. I got a 2-way remote start installed and they gave me a pair of remotes. I found out later that only one remote is 2-way and the other one is 1-way. They didn't tell me on the phone. I called for follow-up but the rep was not friendly at all and didn't acknowledge that it was their mistake that they didn't tell me. To get the other 2-way remote they are asking $45 more and offered me to split the cost of the new remote. Why should I pay more for when I was not aware of this. Still waiting to hear on the 2nd 2-way remote. Overall I would stay away from this dealership. The original quote was $400 but its ending up with close to $500. They need to be upfront and do fair business. From now on I am not going to this dealership for any service or repairs. Never had such a bad experience with other Honda dealerships.
Make sure you tell them you are in a hurry. Way too long of a process. Like the old days of buying a car.
They have a great team at Honda of Mentor, but Dan Kro deserves special mention. He got me in and out with minimal back and for over price negotiation.... I purchased a used mini cooper s, with a very agreeable out the door price.
I located a vehicle that I was interested in, and left an email message. I was contacted in less than 24 hours and given the information that I needed.... The representative was excellent ! I did purchase another vehicle somewhere else, but next time, I will start at Honda of Mentor !!!!
Absolute worst service department I ever dealt with. My car is not even four months old and tried to have it serviced two times with no help. The firs...t time waited over 15 minutes watching three service workers ignore me. They had no customer and no one even said hi. I complained to two managers and was told this had been addressed before. There is other complaints on the Internet about this. My second attempt was told I didn't have an appointment so couldn't help. I said I could leave it but the service manager said am I able to leave it for a couple of days. To have a backup camera and Bluetooth looked at. Never had a dealership tell me that before and have always serviced my cars at dealerships
I have been buying cars for over 40 years and this was the most positive experience I've ever had. Our salesman Chip Sanzo was very helpful working wi...th my wife and me our decision making process. No pressure. The car was ready as promised and the paperwork was prompt and painless. I would have no problem buying a car from them again.
I went into the dealership for fact finding purposes. I had only one criteria: a manual transmission. We had quickly narrowed down the models availabl...e that fit what I was looking for, leaving me with a couple options. I scratched two of the possibilities off due to lack of options and was left with a car that I had considered before, but assumed to be out of my price range. Desiree worked hard to maximize my trade in value, which with a small down payment (to pay off my trade) got me into a deal with $0 down for only $18 more than I was paying for my 7 year old Cobalt. Again, this was a fact finding mission, but I walked out of the dealership 2 days later with a car I had been looking at for 4 years. There was no pressure, only options. I had such a pleasant experience, I suggested my girlfriend take a look around. A week later, we are both happy Honda owners.
