This particular dealership made no effort to meet or exceed customer expectations. Perhaps due to the manager? Facility had no great "waiting room"... with good chairs, TV, free food and drink, etc - like most dealerships do these days. Manager and salesperson insisted on NOT doing very minor fixes on the car, to make the sale. (<=$20) Manager gave no impression that they cared if the car was sold or not. Paperwork took too long to find and too long to process. The whole thing took some 5 hours to complete. Refused to take a verified personal check. Refused to allow car to be seen by my service mechanic. Seemed to be reluctant about everything, including about whether I bought the car. All this when the car was being paid for in FULL and in CASH, at the time of purchase. NOT a quality minded dealership. Salesperson was more concerned about "costing the dealership money" than in meeting customer requirements or expectation.
Overall I was treated well, salesman was very attentive and tried to meet my needs. However, I was given a quote and asked to secure insurance before I... even agreed to it. Why would I buy insurance for a vehicle I haven’t yet agreed to buy? Also the windshield was cracked and I expected it to be repaired when I returned to the dealership and it wasn’t. I refused to take delivery of the vehicle until it was fixed. They agreed to fix it by the next afternoon and then I would take delivery.
