traveled from cape coral to arcadia to find out that the truck I spoke with Tom ( Manager ) about it over the phone was not even in his lot! completely... terrible costumer service, they were not even sorry for wasting my time and money for my travel, they didn't care and they showed it!!!! no regards whatsoever!
I wouldn't buy a blade of grass from them. After purchase customer service is nonexistent. Shady business practices which were promised to be *explained.*... Back in 2003 I bought a new Oldsmobile Silhouette and it was a great transaction. Went back for a new (to me) work car two weeks ago. No one has reached out to me about my concerns. After the new year of 2019 we will be replacing our 2000 Chevy truck and buying another new. Won't be from here..... *Edit - Reached out to me 9/6/2018. I will edit the post accordingly.
I work in IT, so doing heavy research comes as a natural for me. The vehicle that my fiance and I were looking for was a specific model and color. It was... a 2012 White Chevy Cruze 1LT RS with the All-Star package. There were only a few of these vehicles in our area that were giving us somewhat of a fair deal. I called Arcadia to confirmed that the deal they were offering online was the actual price. They said YES and we were committed to driving up to Arcadia. Of course I was skeptical at first due to all the bad reviews on the website. But the deal was the best one we've heard, so we took the chance. Once we got to the dealership, I was appointed to a great salesman and he was so informative through-out the test drive, paper work, and just general knowledge. I want to say Thank you to all you guys at Arcadia. My fiance loves her new Cruze and it was worth the long drive from Fort Lauderdale!
I selected this dealer because of an advertisement on the internet. It is over 100 miles round trip from my home. I have reached out several times since... I purchased my new car to get money back for the items charged on the original invoice but I did not receive ( it was more than a few hundred dollars).. For example, locking lug nuts, pin strips, and door protector. This items should have been done prior to picking up the car. Greg the salesman apologized and said he would set it up and reimburse me for the gas. No call back!

Service is worse here than any dealership I have ever dealt with. Took my 2018 3500 in and clearly explained that it was derated and had transmission issues.... They repaired the emissions issue after a week and said it was good to go. I picked it up, and it was shifting badly as soon as I left the dealership. They never touched the transmission. I took it back and again explaining the problem. they said oh, we’ll m get someone to take it for a test drive. After a few tests they decided it needed a new transmission. I’m still waiting for the truck to be completed. It’s been two months. This is a commercial truck used in my company. Not sure it even has over 20,000 miles on it. I keep calling and I am promised a date that it will be completed only to have that date come and go and still no truck. Plattners Chevrolet is literally the worst dealership I have ever dealt with

I am an active duty service member and was working with them to purchase a car and ship to me out of state. We ran through the numbers and realized I had... a better financing deal through my own ; We agreed to move forward with the purchase and gave them $1k over the phone to hold the car until all the paperwork could be overnighted to me as well as sent the information for them to request the funds from my bank. A few minutes after sending them everything I got a call back stating that they could not honor our purchase amount due to a $235 discount they originally agreed upon (USAA Buyers Program) and was told that the GM yelled at him for agreeing to the deal and if I don't pay an extra $235 I need to forget about the car because they can't loose that money in addition to the $500 kickback loss from not financing through them. He was very unprofessional and tried to make me feel like an idiot for caring about the unethical price change. The next day Derrick, sales manager, called and said that the previous guy was incompetent and he would send over an email with a detailed list of all the fees so we could move forward with the deal. I'm still waiting on said email, good thing I was able to purchase another vehicle with people that seemed like they wanted my business.

My wife and I came in to buy a new Buick Encore for her. We met with sales consultant, Tim Sainsbury and also with his general sales manager, Derrick... Mulligan. Tim answered all of our questions, took us on a test drive and made sure that we got a terrific deal. His hassle free, low key approach made the car buying experience very enjoyable. His manager Eric arranged great financing for us. The dealership is open on Sunday. That made a big difference to me since I needed to get the car right away and I would be tied up during the week days for the next couple of weeks. We live in Sarasota and the local dealership there was closed on Sunday. Believe me if you need to buy a new, pre-owned or lease a car this is the place to go. GREAT pricing, GREAT service and GREAT customer service. You can't get better than this.
Couldn't have ask for a better car buying experience, no gimmicks, no spinning a wheel to win a trip that you pay for anyway in the long run, just down... to earth buying/dealing a down to earth reasonable price. Purchased through Arcadia Chev. Buick, location was at the Super store in Venice. Raymond and Danny were excellent to deal with. When needing another vehicle I will definitely go back.
