Customer Service SUCKS
Had my check engine light come on, on my RAM Diesel 2500, so I tried to get an appointment with service to have it checked out. I called the service department number several times and left VM messages to call me so I could set an appointment. I never got a response back. I tried the schedule an appointment online and put my information in to also have a call back to schedule an appointment but did not get any call back either. Not being able to schedule an appointment, I showed up at 0700 on a Monday morning to see if I could get my truck checked out. I was referred to Service Advisor Mitch who reluctantly said they were slammed but would see if they could get me seen if I was able to leave my truck. Short story after calling every day for a status on what they found the truck was ready for pickup on Thursday afternoon. I had called Mitch and left numerous VM messages to call me with any information but never got him to call me back. After having my truck for four days I was told it was all fixed. The invoice was $995.60 but since I had an extended warranty policy my share was $100. I drove out the parking lot and the truck had no power and could barely get up to 45 MPH. I turned around and told Mitch the truck was not running right and needed looked at. After putting back in the service bay I was told the technician left something loose, but fixed it. I took it for a test drive on I-4 and could barely get up enough speed to merge onto the interstate. I returned once again and told them the check engine light was on and it still did not have full power. They took the truck back to the service bay where the technician finally fixed it correctly. I was scheduled for a family vacation in south Florida the following weekend so taking my truck I got midway to Naples when the check engine light came on again. It stayed on a couple of days and then went off. A day later it came on again and after a day or so it turned off. This went on for the week I was on vacation so when I returned home I attempted to call Mitch so schedule a new appointment to have it checked out again. I left probably a dozen VM messages to call me, and never got a call back. I was successful one time to get another Service Advisor to pickup and he told me that Mitch was sitting at his desk and was transferring my call to him. Mitch would not answer so my frustration level by this time was quite high. I asked the receptionist if I could have someone in service who might give a S!#t about customer service and was connected to Greg who was apologetic and set me up with an appointment at 0800 the Tuesday after Memorial day. Greg gave me his business card and said to call his cell phone for contact. Greg was always helpful and would give me updates on what was going on. Once again my truck was not worked on until four days of being left. The final resolution was the check engine scan codes were erased and the truck taken for a test drive and since the check engine light did not come on, it was declared fixed. Four days to erase a scan code, REALLY! I have not had the truck on the road except to bring it home, so I can hardly wait to see when the check engine light will come on again. I will take my truck to an independent service center from now on.

I purchased a new truck and made a trade-in of my old one. Called ahead and spoke with Jeff, arraigned the terms of the deal and expressed that I didn't want to spend all day at the dealership.
