I learned a good lesson, theses people don't want too

I learned a good lesson, theses people don't want too sell cars, no one called me back 2x, no text or emails, I am 2 hours away, wanted too do deal on line, on phone, unseen Corvette, guess they Don't want too sell cars. Wasted my time, look closer too home in Ocala.

I have been looking for a used truck for several weeks.

I have been looking for a used truck for several weeks. I called about one at Don Mealey Chevy and talked to Charles Jordan on a Friday evening. I was going to go pick it up, but it was getting near closing time. Charles said that he would wait. I ultimately decided to wait until Saturday morning(hoping it was still there). When I got there Charles already had the key and the truck was pulled around front. During the whole truck buying process, Charles spoke very highly about Don Mealey Chevrolet and now I know why. Excellent service and dedication! Thanks Charles!

I purchased a Chevy Silverado pickup from Charles Jordan

I purchased a Chevy Silverado pickup from Charles Jordan at Don Mealey Chevrolet in Clermont, Florida and my experience was refreshing! Charles went above and beyond to help me choose the truck that I was looking for! He took the time to show me several different trucks until I made my choice, answered all my questions and handled the closing in a friendly and professional way. I will definitely give him another opportunity when I am ready to purchase again!

Arrived to look at and test drive a used Jeep Renegade on

Arrived to look at and test drive a used Jeep Renegade on 02/21/25. Sales rep Dylan came out to greet us. We asked about the Renegade we had found listed online. Dylan brought the car up front to see. Dylan mentioned that the car had been well maintained, thoroughly inspected by their service department and was in excellent condition. We went for a very short test drive and upon returning noticed a strong smell of burning oil coming from the car. I opened the hood and a light bit of smoke was coming from behind the engine. I crawled under the side of the car and saw smoke around the exhaust pipe leading down from the engine. Looking further I saw fresh motor oil leaking down onto the exhaust pipe and oil on the underside of the engine pan and crossmember! I thought maybe it was a bad valve cover gasket or sensor leaking but the more I thought about it I knew that much fresh oil wouldn't have had time to wet everything to that point in less than two miles, especially if it had just been supposedly checked over by their service department. At this point Dylan stated that their service department had already closed for the day but would have them look at it to find the problem, get it taken care of and get back in touch with us the following Monday morning. Jump to Monday. Did we receive a call updating us on our desired cars condition? No, all we got was a text message from Dylan stating that the car was going to auction and wasn't going to be sold. That's it! No, can I help you further? Please come back to look. Nothing! Sending it to auction told me the car had a major costly issue. I called the dealership, asked for Dylan and was told he was busy with another potential customer, so I asked the person to please give Dylan a message to call me back, regarding the Renegade that had gone back to their service department on Saturday. Did I get a call back, No. Dylan was texted back asking why the car was suddenly going to auction and what the problem was. Did we get a response, No! Any decent sales person, or at least the sales manager, should have reached out by a phone call, explained the situation and decision not to sell the car, and at least offered to show us other cars or try to find us one that fit our needs rather than just blowing us off and ducking from us, as some cheap buy here pay here lot would do knowing that they tried to sell us an inferior car that had a major problem. I can only imagine what would have been the case if we had purchased the car only to have noticed the issue days later. Would we have received all our money back? Would they have repaired the car for free? I think anyone reading this would already know the answer to those questions. This was our personal experience at Don Mealey Chevrolet. Your experience may be different. All I can say regarding this dealership is definitely BUYER BEWARE!

Great Service at Don Mealey Chevrolet.

Great Service at Don Mealey Chevrolet. The unbelievable part was the General Mgr. Whit Gilliam and salesman Charles Jordan spent hours with us explaining the vehicles I was interested in after I told them I was not buying on that day! I did return several days later and Charles and a large part of the team spent several hours again assisting us with our purchase. No pressure sales tactics everything went very calmly and we enjoyed the entire purchase process. Great job Team Mealey!

Could not ask for a better transaction!! Corvette became available Christmas Eve online. I filled out All of the forms and hoped for the best. 9:15 December 26 I got a call from from Michael Swoop. He was instrumental in putting me into this awesome Z06 December 30. Happy frickn New Year to me!!
