Truck was advertised for $13,990. Salesman said that he would hold truck for me while I drove 1 1/2 hours to see. I saw truck and agreed to buy. When
it came time to buy truck I was told that there was a mistake and now the truck was going to be $15,600. They said they were sorry it was ab honest mistake but they weren't going to loose money. I wasn't happy but agreed to purchase truck. Then I was told there was a $499 dealers fee that included a $125 detailing fee. The salesman said that the owner didn't want any car leaving the lot dirty. The truck also went through an inspection. I drove the truck home and the check engine light came on. I had it checked and the truck needed an EGR valve and a thermostat. Parts cost $430. And the truck wasn't detailed at all. the engine compartment wasn't even touched and neither was the dash. I called the dealer back today and explained what was going on and was told that the truck was sold as is and I got a great deal. So what if the engine is dirty and the check engine light never came on when he drove it. The dealer only made $300 so basically clean it and fix it yourself. They could have sold the truck for $19,000. I understand people make mistakes but I think that the dealer should have honored ad for the original price. Customers that trade in cars loose money all the time , why can't the dealer?
Fast service and friendly staff. The waiting area is nice and the coffee and doughnuts were a Nice touch. Clean restroom.
How the staff treats you like family. The 27 point inspection keeps me up to date on my Silverados condition.
