Worst Dealer Experience Ever
Never made good on any promises. I went in looking for a small car for better gas mileage. They got me in a car and then the problems started. It took them a long time to pay off my trade. I had to keep calling and asking but they did not pay it off before the payment was due and I traded it at least two weeks before the payment was due. Then I had the car a couple weeks and a passenger that got into the rear seat brought to my attention that there were stains on the rear seat. I called them to complain about this and they at this point told me it was used by sales associates. They never disclosed this before the sale. I had to argue and fight with them to get a full tank of gas which is standard at most dealerships. Then they finally agreed to try to get me another car but this was not the end of my problems. They wanted to do paperwork that would show the car as a trade which would get me even more negative equity. I have purchased many new vehicles and this was by far the worst ever experience with a dealership.

Service Rep John Cantellop
Service Rep John Cantellop went above and beyond his call of duty. I took my vehicle in for repair on 23 Feb and I told him that my spouse would take me to get vehicle after hours and that he can lock the keys inside the vehicle, well he did, my mistake. When I got there, I forgot to get the spare keys from my spouse and I could not get in touch with anyone to come and get me so that I can get the spare keys from my spouse, so he waited and when he realized that I would be waiting their for a while, he offered to take me to get the spare keys. When we got to the location, he offered to bring me back so that I would make sure that I was in my vehicle. To me that is above and beyond from his work ethics. I am so grateful for John to have done this for me. This gentleman needs to be THANKED AND RECOGNIZIED for his job well done. We need more people like John. John, thank you for helping me out. This was probably my most pleasant car buying experience. I came here looking for a new vehicle after my car was totaled in a collision. The Service and Sales team are great! First off, I was helped as soon as I stepped onto the lot. Also, I got through the buying process and into my vehicle within two hours. I'd recommend asking for Sam or Sonny if you are ever at North Star Dodge. You don't have to worry about being pressured and you will get a chance to see all of your options. The only unresolved issue I have is getting a scratch filled in on the vehicle. I know this is going to get done, so no worries here.
Walk In Service
Great service! I wandered in there for a small repair, and the guys got me in right away even though the place was extremely busy. I was out in under an hour. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. Multiple people checked on me just while I was waiting. I will definitely return for all my service needs
My dealer went belly up and I needed service for a serious vehicle problem. North Star got me in quickly and took care of everything competently.
SERVICE ADVISOR COMMENDATION TO MR. ERIC MACIAS.
Dear North Star Dodge: This review is being prepared for the sole reason to offer a positive commendation to Mr. Eric Macias. He is one of your Service Advisors at North Star. I was having quite a bit of trouble with the cooling system of my 2009 Jeep Patriot. Mr. Macias walked up to me and introduced himself and asked about my needs. I briefly explained the problems and Mr. Macias took over and addressed each and every issue I had with the Jeep. He helped arrange a shuttle to Enterprise to help me rent a car. We would stay in contact via our phones and he encouraged me to call him to stay abreast of the service being done to the Jeep. He never dropped me or ever made me feel bother-some. I am from out-of-town, yet his kindness and attention to detail proved to be priceless to me. Mr. Macias deserves special recognition in your Department as far as I am concerned. Whild the service was good, "JR" said I would get my discount and same for today when I got the annual inspection and needed wipers, Ronnie said the same about a discount. When I got home I noticed that no discount was reflected in the bill. The current owners of this place were the owners where I purchased this car.
