I am so impressed with the service provided from this dealership. I did not purchase my Wrangler from them, but when I went calling around for the part... I was needing they never hesitated in getting my vehicle in the next day. Other dealerships wanted to "diagnose" the problem for over $100 and would not even discuss it with me. The service dept. at Riverland recognized exactly what I was talking about (2014 Wranglers are infamous for this specific issue), they even eased my anxieties by letting me know it was in fact covered under warranty and that everything from services to rental were taken care of for me. I drove the hour to Laplace and was met at my door by the staff to begin servicing it. Within 10 minutes my rental arrived and had me heading back home. I will never go through anyone else for service/parts, and although I did not purchase my current vehicle from them, I will most definitely be making my next vehicle purchase from Riverland!!
This is a great place to get a car from I was denied at other delers and decided to give Riverland a chance I didn't want to at first but after talking... with Heather and giving here my info and said the can get mei a new car if I made the drive down and they did my salesman was Alan Johnson and he was great at getting me the deal ao if anyone out looking to get in to a new this is the place to go you will nit be disappointed.I purchased a 2014 Dodge Chager SXT Plus.
I drive from Baton Rouge to Laplace (45 minutes) just so Riverland can complete any of my service needs. Alesha and the other Service Reps are always... so nice and concerned about the nature of your concern. Salesmen do alot to get you to purchase a vehicle then after that, it seems like you're on your own. I had a very minor issue, in which I took to my local dealership and was treated and talked to like crap. I left with tears in my eyes and just started calling dealerships. I came across Riverland, in which you can hear a pleasant smile in Alesha voice as she found a time that would work with my schedule to drive there. The issue was fixed that day! This time when I heard a noise, I didn't hesitate to call Riverland and the problem was taken care of. I plan to have my Jeep for a while but if I have to make a new car purchase, I will definitely go to Riverland!
Have had service on 2014 jeep grand cherokee 3 times & I have had no issues. Had my loaner car ready for me while repair was made. Car was clean just like... I dropped it off when I picked it up Great friendly service. I will be purchasing another car from them in the future.
I called about a 4runner for sale and spoke with Mark, sales manager. He was friendly and informative. I spoke with him for 45 minutes - he never rushed... me or was pushy. He inspected the cars I asked about and even test drove one. He gave honest opinions of his vehicles, old me about both good and bad. I ended up purchasing elsewhere and missed an opportunity to give Mark my business. He definitely earned it.
Just wanted to note that the service department has made changes and has much improved since the negative notes were made here. They are now very efficient,... courteous and trustworthy. I'd recommend them to anyone needing service on their Chrysler product.
I purchased my new Chrysler 200 from Riverland Chrysler a couple weeks ago... I have never had a better experience with my purchase. From the Chad ( Salesman... ) to Management ( A.J. and Mark ) my experience was great.. I would recommend this place for anyone!!! Upon taking my brand new truck (2013 Ram) there after NAV system stopped working, I noticed two service technicians smoking INSIDE the service bay in and... around customer cars. I asked that they not smoke in or around my new truck as I can't stand the smell of smoke. 10 minutes later walk into service area, look through service bay window and notice one of the techs standing inside my open drivers side door with a cigarette in his hand. I complained, rightfully got a bit upset that they are doing that, but kept my cool. 5 minutes later, as I was walking through dealer I was flagged down by Pete Daigle the service manager and was told he is refusing to service my truck now saying that he was "doing me a favor" by servicing my vehicle. So to him, servicing the vehicle of a Chrysler/Dodge/Ram customer is doing that person a "favor" and complaining that "his" service technicians are smoking in and around customer's cars is not acceptable. By the way, Chrysler dealers have a contractual obligation to service all Chrysler customer vehicles. So if you want your Chrysler brand vehicle to have technicians smoking in and around them, and want poor customer service and professionalism displayed towards you at the same time, go see Pete Daigle at Riverland Chrysler, if not, I highly advise you to avoid this dealer all together.
Stopped in to get an oil change and found out that my car had a recall too. I ended up buying a 4 oil change package for $79.95 total, and the recall was... done too. In and out in about 50 minutes.

I would not recommend getting your car serviced at Riverland Dodge in LaPlace, LA. They will try to overcharge you for repairs. They told me many things... was wrong with my car which wasn't true. Also, they were very rude and inconsiderate. Worse service I ever received.
