Great service, patient, gave customer time to think Relatively smooth process, friendly staff was helpful Waiting around for insurance was painful, they should have given us a dealer plate right form the beginning

Don't waste your time.

Don't waste your time. They are underhanded and will not try to negotiate a deal. They offer you a ridiculously lowball offer on your trade. In my case, my vehicle was worth at a minimum 5K more than their insulting offer. I'm 3 1/2 hours away so I tried to work the beginnings of a deal over the internet and phone prior to my willingness to make the drive to get a vehicle they had I was seriously interested in. Thankfully I saw all I needed to see before they wasted my time:

I clicked the “Is this car still available?

I clicked the “Is this car still available?” button expecting a simple yes or no. Instead, I received a barrage of emails from the salesperson, their manager, and Cars.com itself multiple times a day. Not one of them actually answered my question. It felt less like customer service and more like being added to a marketing campaign I didn’t sign up for. I understand follow-ups, but when the original inquiry is ignored entirely, it’s frustrating and unhelpful.

2018 ecosport, 44k mileage.

2018 ecosport, 44k mileage. Turned in for recall oil pump belt and tensioner. Picked up the car and drove it home. Noticed some odd noises. Drove it around the block today and more odd noises. Sounds like a stick hitting underneath the car. Not all the time. But frequent. Can't pinpoint where it's coming from. Sometimes right then left then center. I will take it back. It didn't do this before I turned it in.
