They can’t seem to get their paperwork in order when you bring your own financing to the table. Sitting on a cashiers check that’s double what is being... financed and they won’t even release the car to my wife who’s just as much a buyer as I am on the vehicle. My showed up to the dealership with down payment cashiers check, finance check from our financial institution and they refused to let her leave with the car because I wasn’t there to sign their paperwork, even though she was co borrower and all the purchasing paperwork was completed at our bank. They were suppose to add my name to the buyers order and Title app and send it over to our bank. They instead removed my wife’s name and sent it with only mine even though we were purchasing the vehicle together. They also claimed to an employee who works in lending at our bank that my wife was removed due to her credit score. This was a lie because they had no idea what my wife’s credit score was due to outside financing. We both have scores over 760 and hers is actually higher than mine so this made no sense. Worst car buying experience ever. I will never do business with Team Gunther Kia. Nor will I recommend them.
do not and I repeat do not buy a used vehicle from this dealership!!!! Haven't had the car 2 weeks nor made the first payment and the car won't start and... all they can say is sorry. Never again will I deal or recommend this dealership!!!! Their service inspection that they put your car through before purchase is all xxxxxxxx and all lies!!!!

This was easily the best car buying experience I’ve had. I worked with Clint. He made the entire process seamless. Team Gunther made me feel important... to them. As I wrote in my title they get it. They know how to treat people well.
Absolutely terrible service department. After having my 2016 Tiguan have a system malfunction while on vacation I had it towed here on 6/30/19. I notified... the service department about the situation via phone message that night. On 7/1/19 I showed up at the service department at 10 am to check on my car. Noticing it was still in a parking spot where the tow truck left it, I ended up having to pay a second tow truck to tow it into the service bay (about 500 ft)because their technician couldn’t figure out or didn’t want to figure out how to get it in neutral. I stayed an extra night in the area hoping I would be notified about my car that evening. Nothing. Never a call or any update! I showed back up at 7:30 am on 7/2/19 to get an update. As the service manager sat there drinking his coffee avoiding me, I asked if he could go check on my car. Steve, the service rep came back and told me they did not know what was wrong. I completely get that! But I explained how not being updated was not acceptable. Especially, being from out of town and purposely staying in the area because of my car. I left the car there and my mom drove my son and I 5 hours back home. The next day, no update. 7/4/19 they were closed. 7/5/19 I once again had to call for an update. Eventually, we got another truck to tow my car 5 hours back home. Team Gunther’s lack or concern and uncertainty left me uneasy. The amount they quoted me was 1800.00 for a possible fix. I was not willing to pay the amount they quoted for a “possible fix.” When questioned in depth about the parts and the fix and how they related to the situation, the answers were subpar. Let me also mention, I had contacted VW Customer cares, as recommended by my hometown dealership, which contacts the dealer and acts as a liaison. However, the dealership has never responded to them. The car is now back at my local dealership and as I went take a few items out my car I noticed parts that were removed from under my hood were left on my backseat. I would think for the diagnostic charge of 275.00 they could have put back the parts they removed. But considering what I’ve dealt with, I’m not that surprised! Update; using the same computers that Gunther used my dealership fixed my car for 1500 dollars less, without changing the parts that Gunther was going to change. Goes to show you the difference between a mechanic and a good mechanic. I ask Ashley to help me out with the money I was lost during this whole process and she refused. I will just thank God I didn’t spend the unnecessary 1800.00 dollars that they were asking for and I hope they learn a bit more about the importance of communication and customer care.

We were greeted by friendly staff, directed to the salesman with whom we had previously spoken on the telephone. He was professional and answered all... our questions. The type vehicle we inquired about was available so we were able to make a purchase on the first visit.
My sales rep was Thomas McWilliams and he was very professional and helpful. Helped make it a painless process without the usual arm twisting. I will definitely... use Team Gunther and Thomas for my next purchase.
I bought a car from here and not even three weeks later of owning it, it broke down on me. I called in previously and they told me the funny noise i heard... from it was not a concern but obviously it was.
Lauren, we are terribly sorry that your vehicle has broken down. Unfortunately on vehicles that are over 12 years old and have over 100,000 miles on ...them, there is no way for us to foresee potential future problems. Service does a thorough safety inspection of the vehicle. We do our best to ensure that our customers are getting a good car. Regretfully, we cannot warranty a vehicle of this age or mileage.
I am very thankful Donnie and the team were able to get me into what I wanted and then some. You guys are amazing!!!
