Great service while there, but overcharged.
I was given a very long list of things they said needed to be repaired and the prices were ridiculous. I went ahead and agreed to let them do most on the list, like a fool, and I was severely over charged on labor. They told me the day I was there that labor was $120 an hour and that they were giving me 1 hour free since I agreed to let them do so many of the items. The labor portion of my bill was over $1100 when it should have been, AT MOST, 6.5 hours x $120, a total of $780. I called and spoke with the manager and he kept repeating himself telling me that they DO in fact charge $120 an hour, but that Volvo sets the number of hours to charge per service. Thus, if Volvo set 4 hours for a job, but the tech finishes it in 1 hour, the customer is still charged for the 4 hours. He refused to credit me the overcharged labor. The customer service and showroom were very nice, but after speaking with the manager when I realized the overcharge, I cannot help but give a poor rating. I cannot comment on the quality of the repairs because how can I know if they did a good job under the hood or not?
Seven Volvos so far and many coming as long as Greg, Holly and staff remain intact. The service department goes out of its way to help with everything from diagnostics to synching phones. Won’t find that kind of service at other dealerships. Purchased new Volvos based on recommendations of service personnel and continue to rely on their knowledge.
We have purchased many Volvo's over the past 40 years and have always been pleased and satisfied with the whole experience of purchasing and servicing our cars.
Another GREAT Experience
I have consistently posted on Facebook how much I like Volvo of Savannah. Even though I purchased a used car, they have treated me as if I bought the top of the line automobile. Holly is great to work with and the rest of the service team did a great job, even when faced with a GPS Map that didn't want to load - they called Volvo and figured it out. They gave me a car to drive while they had mine and I'm already looking at trading up!

Holly and the whole staff at Volvo of Savannah treat me better than I have ever been treated by any dealership I've dealt with. I've been driving since 1967 so that's a LOT of dealerships over the years! I have known Ralph Tolman, the owner, for over 40 years and his presence on site makes for an excellent dealership.

Good sales are great, but you have more experiences with service department. I’ve owned nine Volvo products and this is the best service department I’ve experienced to date!

I'm on my third Volvo wagon in 20 years. All bought from this dealer. Love them (the wagons & the dealership)! I had a dead battery and the dealer himself offered to come to my location to charge the battery so that I could drive it to the dealership for a replacement. Prompt replacement. Friendly, professional service people.
