Worst Oil Change Job

I dropped off my vehicle today in the morning for an oil change, I get a call back from Brandon that the air filter and cabin filter need to be replaced, cost is excessive, I decline, Brandon doesnt seem to care and hangs up, no body calls me when the vehicle will be ready or is ready, yet they call me for add ons, I called 3 times through the day only to be transfered to Brandon that never picked up the phone, I show up at 4 to find out they are closed, my vehicle is sitting behind their gates with the windows open and nobody cant do anything about it until Monday, this is great, hopefully the overnight condensation of salt-water doesnt damage the interior long term, I dont even know why they get a star, ill rather pay jiffy lube or any other, at least I know my vehicle is done in 15 min and not 48 hours, Good job, Mission Bay Chevrolet!!!!


Replaced parts that weren’t broken

Tried to find an electrical short. Replaced parts and short still exists. My car is still in the lot and service hasn’t contacted me to say they can’t fix my car and to pick it up. They have car sales people contacting me instead of service contacting me to say they can’t fix my car and to come get it after They replaced parts that weren’t broken.


Scammers! Mentirosos y mala onda!

Liars in sales!! ..tried to scam me and not taking good covid precautions. If you call them be prepared to be called 20 times a day even when u ask them to stop!!!!out of all the dealerships I have ever been to in my life this is by FAR the most unprofessional, shady and downright unfriendly.


Mission bay chevrolet

Due to COVID Jake Erwin ,our salesperson helped us over the phone and when we finalized the deal he delivered our new truck to our home (even with a full tank).


New Car Purchase

City Chevrolet was over all a great experience when it came to my new truck. The staff was great, Frank was very helpful as he answered al of my questions in regards of my new truck. I recommend this dealership to purchase your new car or truck due to the fact that is a clean and professional dealership in our sunny San Diego!!! Definitely a 2 thumbs up for City Chevrolet. Thank you guys!!!


Leader in customer service

Wow! I really did not want to leave my house to buy a car but I had no choice when mine died. Thanks for making the experience worthwhile. Great job with following the rules of social distancing. Great team that wants to make sure you get what you need. Oh and thanks Alberto Hernandez for picking me up at my front door! Out of this world service.


Chevy Bolt purchase

We needed to get another EV to supplement our range-challenged Leaf and decided to hone in on a new Bolt due to GM's generous cash rebate at this time. We did our research on options and market prices and contacted several Chevy dealers. David Apodaca at Mission Bay Chevrolet (previously City Chevrolet, now new owner) gave a good impression right off the bat: when I text, he texts. When I email, he emails. Responsive - no high pressure phone calls, requiring me to come in to get a quote, or other shady, unwarranted or unnecessary sales tactics.Transparent pricing. I only had to come in ONCE - to sign paperwork and drive the car home! He also stayed well past his working hours to make sure we left the place with all our questions satisfactorily answered. David also sells cars at the adjacent Mission Bay VW (same ownership). Tanya, the document processor, was friendly, knowledgeable and professional, as well. Other staff that we encountered tangentially also gave a great impression. I would recommend buyers of Chevy and VW cars to check out these two Mission Bay dealerships - for us this was a way above average buying experience. And needless to say, we love the Bolt!

The sales staff is very professional, takes care of everything for you and they look for the best conditions so you can buy a new car. Highly recommended this Chevrolet dealer


oil change gone wrong

I would love to tell you how awesome City Chevrolet service is, but I can't. I made an appointment for first thing Monday morning to get an oil change on my Silverado 2500 and check for what I can feel as a loose front seat, and the service writer told me the loose front seat would cost $150 to diagnose and proceeded to lecture me on how his guys need to get paid, so the rattle in the driver seat i wanted him to look at was going to cost me a minimum of 1 hr regardless of what they find. Seriously? Now I understand that his guys should get paid for work done, but how about you charge me for the ACTUAL time to diagnose if the seat bolts are loose. He was both unfriendly, unprofessional and dismissive and could care less if I patronized City Chevrolet or simply left. I left. I don't recommend City Chevrolet, and will not be coming back. #customerservicefail
