    I just got a call from the general manager AJ stating that a truck I had signed all the paperwork for and overnighted a bank check as been sold out from under me. I was buying from out of state and they never warned me this could happen. They actually told me not to worry about this and it was "sold" in their eyes. Do not believe a word they tell you and do business elsewhere.

    Bought a new truck with a 5 year old trade-in from this dealer. Service was quick and knowledgeable, prices were very competitive. I am now the proud owner of a 2018 GMC Truck with no maintenance worries for the next 5 years in my construction business. I'd definitely return to this dealership.

    So sad that Baker Cadillac provides such poor service after the sale. Made an appointment for service a week in advance. Took car in and was there close to an hour just to drop car off. After 24 hours had not even looked at car. When sales manager finally called me he said the service appointment was just to meet with a representative to fill out service paperwork. Seriously?! This dealership has lots of problems. Since they are the only Cadillac dealership in Charleston had I known all this I wouldn’t have selected a Cadillac. I seriously recommend you consider if you want this type of experience when selecting what brand of vehicle to purchase.

    First of all, the vehicle I was looking to buy was not available after only talking to someone at the dealership a few hours prior. The dealership did buy me some gas for my trip and that was good of them so I commend them for that. However, in discussing to buy another vehicle, my car was then appraised. I was told they would offer the best trade in price. Ha! This dealership offered me an insulting trade in value for my car...thousands short of what it is worth having only 49000 miles on it. I left the dealership and will not return.

    We were in the market to purchase a pre-owned Mercedes as a second car when my Wife noticed a Mercedes SLK -Class for only $10,454.00 Baker's web page! The dealership was closing in an hour and we lived 40 minutes away, but decided to go for it any way. We arrive 10 minutes prior to closing. Upon arrival we notice the enormous and diverse selection of automobiles at Baker's and the facilities were like waking into a 5 star hotel. Now this is how we know we received top notch customer service. We were greeted by Mr. Charles Hemstrom and requested to see the Mercedes SLK and a test drive. Now remember the dealer was closing in 10 minutes. Mr. Hemstrom immediately sat us down in his office while he retrieved the vehicle. Upon his return we proceed to fill out the required insurance paperwork and since it is a two seater, my Wife and I were off on a test drive. We quickly pulled the top down and let the wind blow through our hair. We were out for about 20 minutes. Upon return Mr. Hemstrom was there to meet us. Although it was well past closing time there was no pressure to make a decision on the purchase. The Wife and I decided to think it over and we would contact Mr. Hemstrom with our decision the next day. Unfortunately we decided not to go forward with the purchase, not because of the vehicle, but because again, it is a two seater sports car and we have a family. The next day we broke the news to Mr. Hemstrom who replied immediately that it was no problem and hoped us the best in our search. Regardless we were left with a great impression of Mr. Hemstrom's customers service and willingness to assist us in our search. BTW that great Mercedes SLK is still available as of today and at the price it is a steal!
