I came from out of town to buy a certified Mercedes SL550. After going back and forth with my salesman Tim Rebe, I drove over 700 miles to pick up the... car and was tired and in a hurry to get back on the road. My first mistake was in not test driving the car, because within 2 hours of getting back on the road the brakes starting squealing horribly. I immediately contacted Tim and sent him a video of what was going on. He assured me that the problem would be taken care of. I took the car into my local dealership and contacted Tim, as well as John Andrews, the general sales manager. John disputed the fact that there was anything wrong with the brakes and told me that my local Mercedes dealership was scamming me. I paid $1600 to fix the brakes and tried to get the promised reimbursement. The manager, Waylon Johnson has lied to me repeatedly and refused any responsibility for them. The men at Myrtle Beach Mercedes are NOT to be trusted!
The employees of this BMW Dealership were rude and not helpful. After receiving my car back, there were more problems than there were when I brought it... in. Many bolts and screws were missing. I am VERY mad and unhappy. I called and the manager was very rude.
I came to this dealership because I saw a SUV that fit all my criteria, including my budget. When we got there I was disappointed to hear that the vehicle... I had my heart on was being sold to an employee of the dealership. So, I settled for another vehicle that was on the lot, which also happened to cost more. Meanwhile the vehicle I had originally wanted (and drove well out of my way for) is still for sale at the dealership. In essence, I was told I couldn't get the vehicle I wanted because it was sold to an employee so here's another vehicle, which happens to be more expensive.
The service writer treated me very well and did his job very well. My car was diagnosed with needing a battery, which I told them at the time I made the... appt. . They told me my tires were bad and were dry rotted. In my way of thinking 21,948 miles are not sufficient enough to buy new tires. If I deem it necessary I will do so. I don't drive my car far, but it is used several times as week as I am a retired person. I know ware on a car come from use. Spark plugs I will have to see in order to say yes to replacing at a high cost. When the regular service is due on my car I will get an alignment. My car is always clean when I get I back and I do appreciate that. This time I had mud swipes and dirt on the bumper. I know that the wash there after service is a quick one but this was dirt that was easily removed as I did it. the wheels were still dirty too. I would not have said anything but you ask in your survey, so I told you. Some people are not as easy about such things as I am, but it is nice when your car comes back to you clean.
Excellent service always thats why I only drive Mercedes
As usual, excellent service. They made the repair in the time that I was told. The vehicle came back to me clean and repaired.
Waylon Johnson is a true professional. I was purchasing a car for the first time alone. For a woman this can be intimidating. Not so with Waylon Johnson.... I truly appreciate his understanding and his time. I will recommend Myrtle Beach Automotive to any and everyone that is looking for a car.
This is my 5th Mercedes I have purchased from Myrtle Beach Automotive, I would never go anywhere else. They make my experience easy process and they always... have what I am looking for. The staff are friendly, professional and know their cars.
The service department was very profession in making the appointment for the service of my car and I was very satisfied with the overall service.
Excellent service call. Got the car back sooner than expected. Every visit to this dealer for service has been positive.
