I purchased a vehicle from CarMax - Norcross, GA and the windows were already tinted. I didn't think twice about the tint as the GA heat is brutal. Anyways,... months later I get a ticket/citation because the officer said my window tint was too dark for the state of GA. I called CarMax to see if they could at least take off the tint but they said if I wanted the tint off, I should have asked within 7 days of the purchase date. Since CarMax does not work on window tint, they should always REMOVE existing window tint BEFORE selling their vehicles.
Victoria in the business office provided awesome customer service. Thank you Victoria. You ROCK! Needed information on my extended service plan because... my vehicle was disabled and I did not have the paperwork on me . She took the time to find the information for me.
I did my homework for a month. I contacted the dealership on a weekend, received a prompt response. Arrived at the dealership 20 minutes after they opened... on a holiday, and had my car traded/sold and a new one tested and purchased in half the time I've spent at other dealers. Steve, the gentleman that helped me, was very knowledgeable and that means a lot in my book. I have had several experiences where the person trying to sell me something knew far less about it, than I. CARMAX had been a recommendation from friends and family so I am happy to say they all gave me great advice. I would definitely recommend this dealership in Norcross, and Steve, to anyone.

I went to Carmax on 4th of July. The place was not super packed, so that was great. We had a little 9th month old on tow, and were nervous that it would... take us all day to shop. The only thing that took a lot of time was waiting for a sales man. Apparently, the new young guys at the front were more interested in flirting (yes flirting) with each other and playing around than realizing that we needed help or just plainly asking us if we were being helped. That really bothered me, as we wasted 30 mins just sitting dumb. The front desk girl was no help.. she was the one to tell us to sit and wait and then no where to be seen. Finally someone professional and extremely courteous walked by ... the service manager. He quickly apologized for our wait, and brought along Daniel Claudio. I am SOOOOOOOOOOOooooO thankful he did. Danny was professional, kind, humble, hard-working, and just all the way a pleasure to work with. He represented Carmax the way it should be. He took the details of what we were looking for and walked us around to cars that would fit our needs. The second car (nissan pathfinder) was a recommendation from him... and that was the car we bought. Danny if you're reading this... THANK YOU! You're such a great employee and that deserves recognition.

Hands down this was the most pleasant and stress free car buying experience EVER! My senior sales consultant was Shenita Monroe at Carmax Norcross , who... was an excellent salesperson to buy my 2015 Subaru Outback car from . Highly professional , courteous and detailed , are the words that come to mind to describe her exemplorary customer service style . We initially enquired about the vehicle online and discovered it was at the Kennesaw Carmax location . She immediately requested a transfer so that within 24 hours we could conveniently test drive and finally purchase the car. She is the real deal and we can't recommend her enough . Please make this woman a sales manager !! 5 STARS...
I had not driven in 27 years because I lived in a city, so getting back to driving was a challenge, but Jim Digh made it easy and comfortable. He too almost... the whole day with me, explaining all the new modifications and we test drove several cars before we found one that fit me. Then I returned it for a different make and model and he couldn't have been kinder. Maybe it's because I'm newly returned to the South, but he made what was an extremely anxious procedure for me, completely painless. And he was great fun to talk with.
Don't go to carmax! Because I went there and I regret and treated wrong! There are plenty of used and new car dealerships all over Atlanta!
I had the best experience at Carmax Norcross. The sale person (Andrea Holloman) was very helpful and understanding. With her excellent customer service... I was able to purchased my 2013 Honda Accord. The customer service in the service department was great! Sale Consultant Wayne Gibeau and his team took the time to research my problem and resolve it. Thank you to everyone who played a part in my newly purchased vehicle. GOD BLESS!!
Looking for a vehicle I returned to carmax because of past experience. I must say the salesperson Jim Digh was helpful & friendly in the beginning, he... had the vehicle transferred immediately, but all of a sudden he became rude to me. I ultimately got the impression that he didn't want to sell me a car. I'm located in New orleans & I need to make plans in order to get to Norcross. I gave him the date I would be there to pick the car up & he told me he would not hold the car longer. I spoke with the manager Brent (he wasn't any help). I would not recommend this location to anyone, because this is not the way that business should be run. Also, I went looking on the website today & the vehicle is gone! #extremelyunhappy
