Acura issued a service bulletin extending the warranty on the AC Compressor Clutch to 5 years, 100,000 miles due to a known high failure rate. The failure... routinely happens after 70 thousand miles. My vehicle is over the 5 years but only 80 thousand miles as It is not driven a lot of miles. Those that drive higher mileage had it fail during the five year period. Acura declined repairing mine because I drive fewer miles and did not reach the failure mileage until well past the five years. I was also told a factor was that I had not been routinely using an Acura Dealer for service. The dealer is almost an hour drive one way is the reason for not using them. An independent garage and Honda dealer has been used for all but recalls due to the distance.
Mr. Larry was very personable and professional. The purchasing process was hassle free. If you are in the market to purchase a vehicle, I highly recommend... Mr. Larry.
I had the most wonderful experience selling my vehicle and buying a pre-owned vechicle with McDaniels Acura. I was spoiled rotten! I have never had such... outstanding service from any dealership. Every car selling/buying experience should be this good. They gave me a great price on my trade-in and on the vehicle that I purchased. I was waited on hand and foot and I felt that I was the dealership's number one priority. Every expectation that I had of this dealership was not only met, but exceeded. The staff was very courteous and professional. I will definitely be using McDaniels again for future purchases and I highly recommend them to you.

WARNING MDX NINE DIFFERENT ELECTRICAL FAILURES IN TWENTY SEVEN WEEKS. I PURCHASED A 2018 MDX TECHNOLOGY PACKAGE IN JUNE 2018. IT HAS BEEN ONE PROBLEM... AFTER ANOTHER. THE PROBLEM I HAVE WITH THIS DEALERSHIP IS THAT I SENT A CERTIFIED LETTER TO BILL MCDANIELS, THE OWNER. HE NEVER REPLIED TO MY REQUEST FOR HIS HELP. THE LETTER WAS DELIVERED AND SIGNED FOR BY AN AGENT FOR THE DEALERSHIP. I WONDER IF HE EVER RECEIVED THE LETTER. DID AN EMPLOYEE " STEAL" MY LETTER? IF HE DID IN FACT GET THE LETTER , IT APPEARS HE DOES NOT HAVE THE COURTESY OR RESPECT TO RESPOND TO A CUSTOMERS NEEDS. THIS SAYS A LOT ABOUT HIM AS A BUSINESS OWNER AND AS A GENTLEMAN. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE AGAIN.

Great customer service. William helped me with my trade in into something bigger for my family. He was very patient with me and only wanted the best for... my family. I will gladly recommend William and McDaniels Acura to anyone.
To make a long story short. I bought a brand new car here, only 32 miles on. I have a full bumper to bumper warranty. When my check engine light came coming... on I would take my car to get checked out. I was told three times they could not find anything wrong with my car and they turned my light off. My light came on again for the fourth time, this time the master tech got involved and he told me that my fuel pump is shot. Since I have a warranty they fixed it, couple of days after service all is still well with no check engine light. However, my car still lunges forward when I come to stop. Keep in mind this is a brand new car, never had this many issues with any brand new car I have bought. Aside from having a horrible service department they also have terrible customer service.
Service Department really needs help. We dropped our car off for service and warranty concerns. (purchased our car from them 10 months ago) After four... days we have not been called with any status on our car. (we made an appointment a week ahead of time) Seventeen calls later... yes, 17 phone calls, ... still NO return phone call. We decided to pick the vehicle up on Saturday since we couldn't make contact with anyone and when we requested our vw keys and VW Alltrack... no one asked a single question or offered any update. Customer service was poor for us. It is a shame because we drove from the other side of town for this visit....a complete waste of 3 hours driving twice. Will not buy nor visit this dealership again.
