    I always go to Jim Smith. He's the best service advisor I've ever had experience hands down. Every small or large problem he's got me taken care of. I've never had to make a second trip back because he gets it fixed/handled the first time. JIM YOURE AWESOME. THANK YOU FOR WHAT YOU DO

    After purchasing a vehicle from burns, I was told that it came with Oil changes and other perks. Only to find out that I had to bring it back to Burns each time i just couldn't go to any Chevy dealership. I live in Columbia, SC. I also found out once it started raining the floor boards was taking in water whenever it rains, the AC stop working, and the 120v plug doesn't work. I took it back and they attempted to fix the AC telling me the it didn't kick on because it was over filled; they said they fix the leaking floor, and never touched the plug. After not having my truck for a week, I figured at least the AC was working and the floor was fixed so I drove off. It cooled off and i didn't have a reason to use the AC, once i went to use it again it was out. I took it back with an appointment only to be told that there is a crack in the condensor and the manufacture stop producing it. So now i'm out of warranty on an issue that started the day i brought the truck. As for the 120V plug i was told we have to take the dashboard apart and we don't have time that day you need to bring it back again. needless to say I went to NAPA got some freon and now its working and i'm waiting on the condensor to come off back log (June) and i'll have to paid for it myself. Thanks Burns you don't ever have to worry about me again, this was the worst experience i have ever had with a vehicle.

Our Burns Certified Program does offer great perks like the maintenance program. We like to give our customers an opportunity to take advantage of some free service but can understand that bringing it to us could be a inconvenience. Also, some of the other benefits we offer is extended coverage for your purchase. We are sorry you opted out of any of the extended coverage. Unfortunately, we can't predict if and when a vehicle may have issues. Since your purchase, we've had your vehicle checked out by our service department 4 times. The last being in June of 2016 and then again May of this year. In that time, the vehicle has been driven over 23,000 miles. We waived the diagnostic fee in hopes that we could help get your truck back in tip-top shape. We are sorry that you are not happy and wish the circumstances were different. Our goal is always make a customer happy and we are sorry that we weren't able to accomplish that for you.

    After having my car serviced at your dealership many times on just a walk in basis, I decided to make an appointment, to save time spent in the waiting room. I arrived a few minutes early for my 8:00 appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. I looked up around 9:00 to see my car parked outside the front window, service complete. I wasnt sure how long it had been there, so I walked back to ask if I could pay. I was told the paperwork had not been brought up to the cashier. So I went back and continued working on my laptop. Time slipped away, and I looked up 60 minutes later, still, no one had come to get me. So I walked out in the service bay and looked for my service writer. Didn't see him and no one would make eye contact with me, ask me if they could help, nothing. So I go back and ask the cashier, she realizes I am still there and goes to pick up the paperwork. She comps the service, a gesture which I appreciate, but still, I left with a bad taste in my mouth. On top of all that, when I looked at the invoice, I noticed they had used 5W-30 instead of a synthetic, which I have always requested. In fariness, I forgot to ask that day, partly because the service writer seemed extremely disinterested when I was explaining another issue with my car. I would expect that the writer or the tech would have noticed that I always get synthetic and at least ask if I want it this time. That was just the icing on the cake. I know I sound like a big, high maintenance, grouchy customer. I really dont feel that I am. I am sorry for the rambling comment, all of my complaints run together, I know. I just thought you ought to know why I will not be back for service, nor will I consider your dealership when looking for a new or used car. Thank you hearing me out.

    Awesome experience. It's been that way since I purchased my vehicle last year. David Stone was my adviser and he took extra care of me and my family. All of the service staff was helpful and the fact that they smiled made the visit even more pleasant. I greatly appreciate the Burns service department and I have already and will continue to refer people to Burns Chevrolet.
