Don’t buy new jeep from this dealer!

Don’t ever buy a jeep from this dealership ever! Bought 2018 jeep brand new at 17,??? Miles check engine light came on! They said we can’t find anything wrong reset code sent me on my way kept coming on took back in finally they said it’s the engine coolent leak! They fixed it supposedly but never checked the wiring harness still under warranty! Check engine light kept coming on so we took it to another dealership. They said oh there I oil in wiring harness the dealership u bought from smokey mountain didn’t check it and clean it! 2nd dealership cleaned it wanted to charge my over 2 grand I said oh xxxx no this problem has been happening since 17,??? Miles so I called corporate jeep they had the repairs taken care of. Then check engine light comes on again took it back they said it was the computer! Had to wait over a month for computer they replaced went home 2 days later check engine light on again so took to a new dealer see same 2 codes over and over knock sensor and number 2 cylinder misfire so 3 rd dealer replaced cylinder and valves ect got my jeep back 5 days later check engine light on again this has been going on for over 2 years! Corporate jeep put a extended warranty on my jeep! This xxxx jeep is a lemon and I’m fed up! Jeep back in dealer again don’t buy from this dealer they suck!

Never going back

My husband and I purchased our 2021 Dodge Ram 1500 here in May. The salesman Chad was great. He didn't put any pressure on us and he and Cathy made the buying process seem so much easier than I've ever experienced. We loved our new truck. Fast forward to July our passenger side floorboard started filling up with water. Mind you this is a brand new truck granted we understand things happen. I called to make an appt for our first free oil change and tire rotation they offer as we had been traveling and had around 3200 miles on it and also to get them to fix the leak and replace the carpet which would be warranty covered. The first appt. Available was 2 weeks later. As much as we didn't want to wait that long I took the appt and we just didn't drive the truck. I shouldn't have to burn up because I can't run the air in my brand new truck. I show up for my appointment and the man says I've been trying to call you for an hour( he hadn't) we don't have anyone here that can do your warranty work. At this point if am trying to stay calm. Mind you it's been 2 weeks our new truck has been sitting with wet carpet. We vacuumed it the best we could but it was bad. Then he insults my intelligence by telling me your manual also says you don't have to change your oil until 5,000 miles. I knew this already, but my time is precious and I have to do things when I can and also in order for our lifetime warranty to stay intact it has to be done right on time. The mechanic present was super nice and agreed to look at it and see if it was an easy fix, of course it wasn't, but he did at least try to soak up some more of the water out of the floorboard as to not cause wiring issues. I go back to the man who I assume is in charge which is a joke and say how are we going to fix this get me back in next week when you have qualified staff? He said oh no I am booked next week it will be the 16th of August ( 2 weeks and a few days later. He made it very clear that they no longer need or want our business. My family spent over 100,000 on a jeep and our ram within 3 weeks at that dealership to be treated as if our business didn't matter. The only reason I am giving 2 stars is because of the excellent sales dept. Our truck has been at Autostar in waynesville and they diagnosed the problem, ordered the part, and serviced our truck in less than a day. Mind you they got us in right away. They are in the process of getting it fixed now that the part has came in and have updated us all along the way. They spoke to me with respect and we're very accommodating. They will get our business from now on. I have never in my life had someone argue with me about whether my vehicle needs serviced or not. I can't help but think if that had been my husband things would have went a whole lot smoother.

Great Service, Great Selection

Just got a great truck for my wife here. They have a wonderful selection of high quality vehicles. Our sales person, Michael Newman was an absolute professional. Courteous and incredibly helpful. But most of all, honest! Thanks!

Easy To Do Business With

Found a lightly used truck online at Smoky Mountain CJDR. I'm in Chattanooga, TN and they were in Franklin, NC, 2.5 hours away. I talked with them on the phone about what I wanted to do, as I had a trade, and we had an understanding in place before I even left Chattanooga. Once I arrived, everything was as we had talked about and I was on my way back to Chattanooga within an hour. This was seriously the best car buying experience that I have ever had. I'd do this deal again, as Kathy, Ralph, and Bryan were each great to work with.

Super Pleased!

Can’t say enough good things about the crew here. From the moment we arrived the staff was courteous and really created a stress-free environment. Second auto our fam has purchased here and likely not the last! If you’re in the area and need a great set of wheels you really owe it to yourself to check em out. Fair, honest and reasonable. Nice to see in a market where it’s easy to be uncomfortable or unsure. Thanks again Michael and the whole team!!!

Exceptional salesman

I actually went in for a repair on my sheep and ended up walking out with a Subaru Outback. I can not say enough about Michael (whom has only been there a few months). Michael was amazing in answering questions and if he didn’t know the answer he was not afraid to ask. The entire dealership in a whole was outstanding. I really appreciate everything you guys did.

Don't bother

Tried to make a new car deal with this dealership, but they were absolutely NOT interested in doing anything to make a sale. Went to Skyland Automotive in Asheville and got great deal with great people. I would not recommend anyone trying to make a deal with the now Smoky Mountain Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram in Franklin, NC.

Great place to buy a car!

No pressure sales environment. Friendly staff. The sales staff gives you info about the vehicles without being too pushy or over the top which is hard to find these days. When I bought my jeep, Jeff took his time and explained every feature my new jeep had and made sure I understood how it all worked. With so many features, it was great to have someone take the time to show me how it all worked.

Yes!! A Great experience for a change!

I bought my first Dodge truck from Jeff Stansfield at Jim Brown Chrysler Jeep. He's a low key guy who made the process of buying easy with NO pressure. It didn't take long to find what I wanted, to close the deal, and I feel I got a fair price as well. I shopped at several dealers within the area yet I wanted to buy from a hometown dealer if possible. I was pleased to find this to be a locally owned business. This was the best car buying experience I have had in many years. I'm happy with the vehicle and the customer service I received.
