The long story: took my Murano (Mo) into the Smith Nissan service center because my newer battery was going dead by setting overnight. They ran diagnostics on it in the morning, I called up there in the afternoon, because they never called, to see what they they found. They then explained that the A/C compressor was draining the battery and needed to be replaced and it would be 1000 dollars. It did not make since to me on how this could be the case so I drove up there to see if they could explain the situation. At the service center I was told the same story, I then asked how it that possible seeing that the compresor is belt driven and does not run from the battery? He then said well it's the A/C clutch that is pulling the power. Ok, but it should not have access to power when the engine is off. He said, no it has power all the time (after running to talk to the "technician", I use that term loosely. I just took the car home because it had shady written all over it, for someone that has any common sense when it comes to electrical systems. I ended up getting a 2nd opinion from a local car guy and he found it was a simple relay (or electronic switch) that turns the part on as needed. It was simply stuck in the on postion, which explains why the battery was running dead. Long story short: Nissan was trying to charge me 1000 dollars just to replace a simple 30 dollar part, that or they are that incompetent they don't have a clue what they are doing at our expense, grasping at straws if you will. Whatever the case, stay away from this stealership Smith Nissan. If you must go to a dealership try Fayetteville or Tulsa.

Let me please begin with a sincere apology from the staff at Smith Nissan. We continuously strive for accuracy and thoroughness when diagnosing vehicles in our service department, however in this instance we failed. We value your feedback and although human error is impossible to remove completely, we have taken the proper steps to train the technician and service advisor on how to avoid this from happening to you, or any of our customers, again. I have nothing bad to say!

There is nothing bad to say about the crew at Smith Nissan, from Noel Harvey my sales guy who has sold me 3 cars this year, to David in the service Department are all great. There must be a reason I keep going back and who ever is reading this should too.

The easiest and most pleasent buying experience

I hate going to shop for a vehicle because of the sales sharks. But here no body bull rushed us which was a pleasant feeling. We had shopped several sites looking for a truck. Saw one I liked, inquired by email, Becky called back and she had all the answers I was needing. My wife and I went out to look at a Frontier, Becky was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. But we ended up buying a used Titan. At this time I can not ask for a better truck buying experience. We took our time buying one ( about two weeks ) and we were never pressured. If we had, we would have gone somewhere else. I will be back to see Becky when my wife's car needs to be replaced. One of the nicest and cleanest dealerships on top of that. Plus I can get my truck washed for FREE. You can not use that word much these days. Thank You.

How to win and keep customers.

After going to other dealerships and being completely disappointed with their sales staff and customer service, I found a 2010 Nissan Rogue on the Internet and called to make an appointment for a Test Drive. From the moment I spoke on the phone with Coby Outlaw at Smith Nissan, I was comfortable with him. My husband and I met with Coby and we were very impressed with his knowledge and experience. He didn't disappoint, nor did he talk down to us or try to talk us into something we didn't want. He was fair and easy to deal with and we drove away in that very same Rogue, content in the fact that we were treated very well by the entire staff. We will be back before long to buy a truck from Coby! We will also tell all of our friends what a wonderful guy he is and how much we enjoyed the whole experience at Smith Nissan in Ft. Smith.

Great Service at Smith Nissan & thanks Noel Harvey

We just bought out first car from Smith Nissan and everything was great. Very professional salesmen, beautiful facility, excellent service. Noel Harvey has sold us cars before at other dealers and when we were looking at the Altima's, ran into Noel. It was great to see him there because we knew he would do us right. He got the best deal for us and we love the great benefits that Smith Nissan gives (I like the free car washes). Thank you Noel, we'll see you again someday when we're ready for another car.

SMITH NISSAN ISTHE NICEST DEALERSHIP I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH AND I HAVE DEALT WITH MANY OVER THE YEARS. I COULDN'T HAVE ASK FOR A NICER, MORE HELPFUL SALESPERSON THAN BECKY CUNNEEN, THEIR INTERNET SALESPERSON. SHE WENT INTO DETAIL EXPLAINING THE MANY BENEFITS AT THE DEALERSHIP. CERTAINLY ONE THE SPOUSE WOULD BE VERY COMFORTABLE VISITING, EVEN IF THERE WERE KIDS WITH HER. SHOWED US AND EXPLAINED THE MANY FEATURES OF THE PATHFINDER. I recently purchased my first car at the Nissan dealership and I don't regret anything about it! I had great customer service from COURTNEY BOZE, she was able to help me find and get the car that I wanted. It was nice going to a dealership and having someone actually care about getting you a car that you want and the buying process was so simple! I would definitely recommend this dealership!

Very Professional, and the best Customer Service

I had the best Customer Experience at Smith Nissan. Kendall Newton was very professional and he knew his vehicles and car fax information. I really appreciate him being patience with me and not being a pushy saleman. Kendall took the time to explain and show me information and details about the cars I was interesting in. Thank you Kendall for helping me and Thank everyone at Smith Nissan for being so professional and kind. The Perfect Truck.

I highly recommend Smith Nissan in Fort Smith. I walked in and was helped right away. I wanted a truck, not too big, but big enough. I am driving the greatest truck in town now, Thanks to Mr. Outlaw and his quick help in making a perfect choice! I love the customer service I get when I pull right up to the door. The Free car wash is a Big Plus. I love my new Frontier:) I went in to purchase, and about an hour later, I had new wheels. This purchase was the second one at Smith Nissan, and I will keep coming back for each newt truck.
