Poor sales

I don't recommend buying anything from Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet. I was just trying to negotiate a truck over the phone and by text with their Salesman Chris. They have one price and are not willing to negotiate any further. This is the first dealership I've ever ran across that does not negotiate prices.

Purchased 2 New vehicles in last 6 months

We purchased a new Blazer in May and a new Silverado in October. We worked with Rusty Cross on both sales and couldn’t have received any better service. He answered all our questions and took time to cover the options on both vehicles. Steve Gelnett, Sales Manager, check with us several times just see how things were going and if we had any questions. We have brought the Blazer back for a couple of oil changes and Trey in the service department has taken care us. Excellent service. This is the only dealership I’ll be doing business with in the future. I highly recommend them. They are extremely friendly and helpful and treat you fairly.

My wife and I recently purchased a 2007 Suzuki XL7

My wife and I recently purchased a 2007 Suzuki XL7 at Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet. Rusty was our sales associate and the purchase went extremely well. I have purchased many new and used cars throughout my life (always though a dealer) and I have to say that this purchase experience topped all the others. Rusty is a fine gentleman with a southern charm and very professional in what he does. We were never pressured into the deal and yet he always had a good answer to each of our questions. The sale was closed very quickly, and we were off with our XL7 in no time at all. On the second day of ownership an ABS/Traction Control light came up on the dash. I called Rusty and he did not hesitate to ask us to bring the car in for the dealership mechanics to look at. They discovered the cause of the issue, replaced a sensor (at no charge), and we were on our way. I would say that the way business is done at Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet in Newton, NC is "old-school". Rusty showed us great honor and professional courtesy throughout the entire purchase process. Dale Earnhardt Chevy

I ordered a tono cover ,running boards and mud flaps. They were all put on in different times which meant the truck had to be returned three times. I noticed the door on the drivers side had a scratch on it and I pointed it out to the salesman. They took it in to be painted and they were going to pick it up and leave me a rental car. When the driver showed up he said no one told me about a car. He had to go back and get one. When they finally called to say the truck was done I started to leave and I noticed there was no tono cover on it. I asked the manager what happened to it and he said we ordered the wrong one. I had to return the truck again for it to be installed. There seems to be a disconnect between the service unit and sales. The lady in the cashiers office was really helpful and explained allot to me about the rewards and even helped me claim them.

Review of 2004 Suburban 2500 purchase on 3/16/2016

I've bought many new and used cars throughout the years, but this was by far the best experience I've ever had at any dealership. I spoke w/ Bill by phone before driving 2+ hours to look at a car. He was very helpful, answered my questions, and sent me all the info I asked for. As it turned out upon arrival, he had described the car I was looking at honestly and there were no surprises. He had the car ready to drive, and had all accompanying paperwork concerning the vehicle there for me to review. Everyone I encountered at the dealership was very friendly and went out of their way to make my wife and myself comfortable. This is a very laid back dealership, no high pressure tactics, just an honest & friendly staff to help you with your purchase.
