When I purchased the vehicle from Hendrick of Cary the price I felt was fair. Since the purchase the experience has been less than satisfactory. I was at the dealership for over five hours during the purchase. During those five hours, the vehicle was supposed to be detailed. For whatever reason that did not happen. Which brings me to the dreadful service department. I called to schedule an appointment on a Friday and had to leave a voicemail. I never heard back from anyone and called the following Tuesday. Due to work requirements I only had a two day window to get the service completed that week. The individual answering the phones transferred me to the service managers voicemail. I left a message that morning around 9am. Due to my narrow window of availability I called back and was transferred yet again to Rick's voicemail and left another voicemail around 1pm that same day. I never received a call back from him either. I called back the next day and the girl answering the phone stated she did not know whom the general manager was and could not transfer me to him but wanted to schedule my service and owed detail. I scheduled the service for a Monday morning and was told it would take about 4 hours for the oil change, the detail and to look at an issue with the vehicles overhead console. I arrived at the dealership for my scheduled service and then used the shuttle to go to a nearby restaurant. I returned to the dealership and sat in the waiting room until around 12:30pm. Three hours into my service. I was never contacted by anyone with a status and walked to the service counter. My service rep told me the oil change has been completed but they were waiting for the detail dept. to get back to them with a time for my vehicle. Why wasn't this completed when the appointment was scheduled is beyond me, and shows the inferior quality of this service team. I was then told nobody had time to check out my overhead console and the service rep was too busy to ride with me to see my complaint. Again, wasn't this scheduled when I made my appointment? I guess not. Needless to say after nearly four hours, which should have been ample time to complete all of my needs, the only thing completed was my oil change. I was then asked if I could bring the vehicle back for the detail and for someone to ride with me to address the overhead console issue. I live in Wake Forest so it takes time and gas to go to Cary. This is a waste of both in my behalf. If I knew this was how it would be, I would have purchased the truck from another dealership. SOOO DISAPPOINTED. I've already steered one customer to another dealership due to my inferior experience thus far. Uncalled for. Beware!!

I had the absolute best experience purchasing my 2016 Cadillac ATS coupe at Hendrick Cadillac of Cary. My sales consultant was Charles Carter and he was the utmost professional! He worked until he found exactly what I desired in a vehicle! Charles is very knowledgeable and offers excellent advice during your purchasing experience. To top it all off Charles personally delivered my vehicle from Cary, NC to Charlotte, NC. Customer service doesn't get any better than that! I am appreciative of his services and will recommend anyone to purchase a vehicle with Hendrick Cadillac of Cary!

I've always liked bringing my car to the dealer for service, but this last time I left just so upset. The service manager called me to follow up while I was on vacation and left a message. I've tried to call him back several times, but always get voicemail. I was in just for a routine service on 7/21/16. When my car was done and I went to drive it away, something was clicking on one of the tires. They took it back in and found a drywall nail in a tire. The service tech who had rotated the tires said it was not there when he did the tire rotation. They got a new tire and sent me on my way, but it cost me a pretty penny, $278.95 for one 18" tire for my Buick LaCrosse (Michelin Premiere MXV4, 18", 23550R18). I felt they should have taken care of that tire damage at no charge to me because it happened on their property, between the service bay and when they parked it for me to drive off. My tire was fine when I drove it into the service garage. The check out crew said they could not help me other than they dropped the $20 service fee for changing the tire. They said the service manager was out of town and no one else at that spiffy dealership could make a judgment call to handle this in a more customer friendly manner. I asked if they could call him, but no he was in a meeting at the Charlotte dealer. Note to service manager: leave someone with a little authority when you are gone during regular customer hours. Surely they have insurance to cover damage to vehicles that occurs during service at their shop. I asked for Mr. Hendrick's address to write to him. 'Mr Hendrick who?' "The one whose name is on the building." They didn't have that and said he wouldn't handle it anyway. Maybe he would if he knew how his crew handled it! Of coursen't I could get my keys to drive away without paying the bill in full. I received a call from a customer service person as a followup to my service visit a few days later and I told her this story. She assured me someone would get back with me. That has been more than two weeks ago. I love driving my LaCrosse but may have to give up on having it serviced at the dealership. Anyone have any good suggestions? Am I being unreasonable? I googled that tire online and it's available locally for a lot less than what they charged me. But that's a moot point in my mind because I felt they should have made this right at no charge. And I failed to mention that it was a 90 minute wait for an oil change and tire rotation.
