Husband and I have owned Jeeps for over 20 years, and have always had dealers do our service and have purchased Jeeps from same dealers that do our service--we... are loyal like that. Moved to Oak Ridge from Indianapolis in 2018, had brought vehicles here for routine service before this incident. This service appointment was in June, 2019. Made appointment 2 days prior for brake job for husband's jeep. Arrived on time (8am) and after some preliminary questions went to lobby to wait. After 1.5 hours (3-30 minute sitcoms) someone came to ask additional questions about why I was there (which brakes replacing, doing any other work, etc.). SAME QUESTIONS ASKED WHEN THEY TOOK POSSESSION OF KEYS AND JEEP and when made appointment on phone; I answered questions again. About 2 hours after this, (now almost 3.5 hours into 8 am appointment) different person came out and asked basically the same questions again. Answered again. About hour later (4.5-5 hours into 8 am appointment) with little communication from staff, I went back to service desk to check on status. Was only told then that wrong parts had been ordered and they had had to send someone to local parts store for right parts. Should be done shortly. FINALLY, SOME 6 HOURS LATER FROM START OF 8 AM APPOINTMENT, car was ready and paid for. I tried to speak to dealer GM and service GM about experience at the time, but both out on vacation. The guy handling most of my service told me to be honest when they with follow-up to see how satisfied I was with service and visit that day. Never got the call, which was good--if I had, I would have been totally frustrated and angry all over again.
xxxx salesmen, promise financing but could not deliver run me back home to get my corvette for a trade and still did not get me in a car and I did not... get free gift for coming in..
My husband and I were looking to replace our 2012 Dodge Charger and dropped into Secret City Dodge on Saturday. We were welcomed with friendliness and... helpfulness by Mark. We went back and forth between a new 2014 Charger or a used 2014 Charger with some miles on it. My husband, who loves Chargers, preferred the used car but after discussing the actual costs with both the finance head and the owner, James Cogdill, he decided to buy the new 2014. It was a no-pressure experience from start to finish and it was so refreshing to not have to deal with any theatrics! Everyone there, and I mean everyone, was respectful, helpful and interested in getting us the vehicle that we wanted. I would recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone who is in the market to buy a great car.
Took my Jeep SRT in for a minor fix, put wrong size tires on, then told me I needed control arms ( which was $2,000) because it was rubbing come to find... out they put the back tires which are larger on the front! That wasn't the only issue, they told me it came in like that! They did the inspection on it that I paid for previous and ended up proving my case that they were in the wrong!! very dishonest people. I would not recommend going there for anything. PLEASE BEWARE
Just bought a used Wrangler and service after the sale has been the worst I've ever experienced. During my test drive I was told I would get floor mats... and the freedom top bag since they were missing, to date I have gotten 2 floor out of 3 mats and NO storage bag. On my 2nd test drive the tire pressure warning came on and no biggie salesman told me they'd take care of that. On purchase day light was still on and I was told to give it a few miles to sync as they had just verified the tire pressure.. 4 days later light is still on and I'm just getting run around and stories about over size tires and they haven't even bothered to check the system, just stories and excuses. Stopped at A local tire shop and they were decent enough to scan my system for free, Secret City never even offered to look.. I've been handled off to multiple salesmen and told I need to get in touch with my original one who's out sick to discuss my issues? I've called so many times trying to contact either salesman the receptionist knows me by name. Before the sale things seemed fine, but once the check clears don't expect them to stand behind it, least that has been my experience so far. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 10-23-18 Update After a request to contact the dealer on google... I finally got the cover bag as promised.. However still missing a floor mat, was told to check back in a week? The BIG issue however is I was told they're going to do nothing about the TMPS sensor issue.. This light was on and they knew it was on and told me it would go out as mentioned.. Today I was told since it's a used car they are NOT going to put any money into it... They never even bothered to look at it! So my advice to anyone shopping here get anything in DUE BILL and do not trust their word. Makes you wonder if they would even honor their "life time warranty" at this point. Will not be a return customer, it's the small things that matter.
I was interested in a new truck and interested in dealing with this dealership because they told me in writing that they could do $1500 less than a quote... from a local dealership. They told me to receive that deal that I had to come in within two days to purchase the vehicle. I agreed. They eventually got back to me and stated they had meant that the tax, title, and fees were not included, which made the vehicle more expensive than my local quote. We reached a resolution with the price, but then the truck suddenly didn't have a towing hitch, though it had a "towing group" and a "wiring harness". I was told in writing that it did specifically have a hitch. I was asked to pay $800 to have a hitch installed at the dealership, or go to U-Haul and have it installed. I had taken off work to purchase this vehicle and so had my wife. We are disappointed that we were told two different things in writing, both of which ended up being untrue, both of which were not honored by the dealership. The used car manager was extremely rude on the phone, as well. My experience with this place left a lot to be desired. I had another friend riding down with us tomorrow who was pre-approved for a Jeep Wrangler and she is also no longer interested because of my experience. My wife is going to purchase a new Jeep Compass in the next year, so they lost three potential sales because they could not install a hitch that was supposed to already be there, on top of me agreeing to pay a higher price than they initially told me for the vehicle. They did not seem phased at all when I told them I was no longer interested after the hitch suddenly wasn't there.
Bought a jeep commander overland feburary 10th paid cash was charged a $700 doc fee on a used car? It was raining when i bought it so i couldnt tell all... the drips were not all just water dripping under it. Well i almost made it 15 miles before it overheated due to 1 cracked head and 2 blown head gaskets...that was after salesman Gerard told me the ace mechanics had went through the vehicle making sure everything was ok! So i had to spend another $2100 for repairs the same week i bought it! I also learned a few weeks after i had it fixed that the air conditioner doesnt work because of a cracked condensor that is buried in the dash. The dealership quoted me another $1500 to fix the issue. I was expecting issues with a used car but when its been gone through by their mechanics and neither issue was caught they either just lied to me or their mechanics dont know their a&% from their elbow about checking cars! I know i wont break them but im positive i will never spend another dime at secret city dodge!!
My son needed a car to get back and forth to school.I really don't like sales people but Connor did a great job on getting conrad what he needed in his... price range.we were very pleased.
I wouldn't buy anywhere else. Everyone is friendly and treats you like family! My 2nd vehicle from here and will be my go to dealer for any and everything.
I stopped in on a Saturday morning and walked around for 20 minutes and no one came out to help. Stopped by a second time during lunch and one person came... out but really was not that interested and turned me over to an internet sales guy that since then has not responded back. No more trips for me to this dealer.
