Sad But True
Health care worker taken advantage of by local car dealership amid COVID pandemic. Sad but true. Last week I went to my local Ford dealership, Green Country Ford of Vinita, and traded My 2017 Ford Mustang, financed through Ford Motor Credit, for a new 2020 Ford F150 truck, also financed by Ford. Two days later I learned Ford has a current promotion to help their customers during this COVID 19 pandemic. The promotion is, buy a New Ford by 4/30/2020, and finance through Ford, You get 3 months deferred payment plus Ford would make the next 3 payments, calling it “Ford Bonus Cash”. I was extremely excited and happy when I learned this. As a healthcare worker, working at a state-run facility with over 200 patients. My coworkers and I have been under a great deal of stress during this pandemic. I thought this current promotion is a great way for Ford Motor Company to show they really care about their customers. I went back to the dealership and was told; I missed out on the current promotion because I did not ask for it at the time. I asked them; if I were to buy a new ford today would I get the promotion? They GLEEFULLY said: “Only if you asked for it”. They seemed to take great delight in taking advantage me and of my ignorance of the promotion. I left the dealership feeling both embarrassed and cheated. I sent them a text message telling them just that. Their response was “You’re welcome”. This is the type of dealership that give car salesman a bad name. I know that Ford Corporate wants its dealerships and sales force to give their customers the best deal they can. Ford promotions should be promoted by ford salesman. All I ask is that Ford honor the promotion for which I clearly qualify for. As for Green Country Ford of Vinita, at least I know who they are. SUPREME SERVICE!! UNMATCHED IN MY LIFETIME
My f450 Diesel needed immediate attention as I was hauling prorodeo horses to a nearby PRO RODEO. THEY PUT ME FIRST THING IN MORNING AND DEDICATED A HIGHLY SKILLED TECH TO KILL THE PROBLEM. THEY GAVE me A LOANER CAR SO I COULD TAKE CARE OF MY HORSES WHILE WAITING. IT GETS BETTER. They called to say a expected repair of originally quoted 650$ was only 160$ due to wiring that was truly the culprit. They are honest and forthright. The owner took time to discuss and introduce himself. The hospitality was outadapark.!
