    We visited Southern Auto Group twice. First time was for researching the product. Second time was to see if we could find a truck that met our needs. Both Trips: Brian the manager was intelligent, well versed in the product and DID NOT work a HARD SELL. Instead, he listened to our interests, reviewed options and let us walk around without feeling like we had targets on our backs. First Trip: Josh was our first sales person and he was fantastic! He knew the product, went on a test drive with us and showed all the mechanical and electronic capabilities of the truck. Great asset for your team. We left the dealership with a solid understanding of the product. Second Trip: We looked for Josh, but he had the day off. Adam took over from there. Even as we walked around with Adam, Josh had called the dealership to make sure we had someone taking care of us. Great follow up on his part! Adam did a great job. Also knew the product, was full of energy (it was late afternoon early evening). He managed to take care of us and another client without really making us feel like we were forgotten. Good to have a multi tasker on hand. Brian worked the final deal with us and while I thought there should have been more savings available to us, I believe we got a great deal and a great Truck. The Team at this dealership was worth the cost of the truck. Maybe I could have worked the truck for less cost at another dealer, but I doubt the team would have been as superb.

    Let me start out by saying–DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH SOUTHERN KIA GREENBRIER! If I could give them a negative rating, I would give them -5 stars. Not only did they ruin a vacation, they caused us to re-arrange travel last minute to attend a funeral. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS DEALERSHIP TO ANYONE! We brought our KIA Sedona in on a scheduled appointment, that we made one week prior. When scheduling the appointment, we informed them that we were leaving on a road trip the night of the service appointment. The Service Dept called Friday morning (8am) to confirm what we needed done, and I told them again we were leaving later that night on a road trip. Fast forward to 2pm. We made our first attempt to contact the service dept to find out how the car was coming. We left a message for them to call us back. We made a second call at 3pm, and left another message. The next time we called was 4:30. We talked to the Service rep and he said he would call us in 15 minutes with an update. At 5:15 after not receiving a phone call from the Service rep, we called to inform them that we were coming in to pick up the car since they closed in 45 minutes. This is when they informed us that they could not get the car to start and could not find the issue. Needles to say, we were upset that they did not inform us of this earlier. Well after some back and forth, they said that they would pay for a rental van and told us to go to the Hertz down the street from them. When we got there, at 5:30pm, they informed us that they did not have a van to rent us. We tried another company, with no luck. We called KIA, and were told they would reserve one at the airport. After driving 30 minutes to the airport, no luck. If the KIA service rep called the airport to reserve the van, he would have learned that they did not have any vans available either. I tried calling the KIA Service Dept three times, starting at 6:15pm, but they were closed. I ended up calling the Southern KIA Greenbrier Sales Floor and got in touch with a sales manager. I explained the situation and he said he would call me back. Well after some back and forth, he said the Service Manager would give me a call first thing Saturday morning. We headed home to start changing our travel plans. On Saturday, when I got home from a flight, I asked my wife if KIA called. Of course they did not. I called KIA and informed them of the issues and that we never received a call from the Service Manager. This is when I found out the person I was dealing with the night prior, stayed after closing an extra hour waiting to see if we got a rental van. I informed him that I tried calling three times starting at 6:15pm and kept getting a voice mail. He told me that they switched the line over at closing. He did not think to pick up the phone before he left to check on us--FAIL!!!! He was also surprised that the Service Manager had not called us back. He told me that I would be getting a phone call shortly. Fast-forward three hours, and no phone call, I get a call from KIA saying the car was ready to be picked up. It was now 2pm. KIA had the car for 1 and a ½ days and did not finish everything we needed done. All they did to fix the starting issue was to charge the battery over night, AGAIN!. (If you guessed that the car did not start on Sunday morning, you would be correct! We had to take the vehicle back in and spend 2 and a ½ hours on Monday waiting for a rental van, which was another debacle.) I stopped in to see the Service Manager. After explaining everything, I told her they lost two customers, $60k of future business. She said that KIA does not want to lose our business. She gave me her card and told me to call back on Monday to talk compensation instead of writing a bad review. I called back on Monday and left a message for her to call me back, and… you guessed it, no call back. She made my decision for me! If you made it this far into this book, I commend you. STAY AWAY FROM SOUTHERN KIA!!!!!
