We were looking for a first car for our daughter who was turning 16. We wanted the most inexpensive car being sold right now which is the Nissan Versa.... We researched long and hard for dealers in the VA/NC/SC area. Many dealers in North Carolina only wanted to sell the 2016's that they still had in stock. In Virginia, many of the dealers played the old tired games of trying to show prices that didn't really exist. They take off the $865 delivery charge to show a low price but by the time you add that back in plus the admin. fees, the price grows $2,000 which on a car of this price is a huge increase. But then we found First Team in Roanoke. We contacted them online and we received an email on a Sunday when they are officially closed. We went back and forth with Mel Dobbs during the week arranging the deal. We drove up Saturday morning, a lovely two hour trip through the foothills of Virginia. Unfortunately my wife had come down with a cold but Mel promised that he would make the process as fast as possible. We were in and out with our new car in much less than an hour, No needless time wasting which was much appreciated. The only regret that we have is that they are a little too far away to get our services done but we will definitely drive back up to buy our next car. Buying a car is the second largest purchase that most people make. Why not make it as pleasant as possible and deal with people like Mel? Even if they aren't your local dealer, make a day trip out of it. You won't regret the decision.

The employees are so nice and professional, they answer all questions and are very patient when helping you decide on a vehicle to buy. They are not pushy... which is a big issue with some dealerships. I do like that you all added the water, coffee and snacks for customers.
The service department is awesome! Everyone is super in the service department, always pleasant, helpful, knowledgable and very accommodating! I wouldn't... take my car anywhere else for service!
