    It was a cloudy Wednesday and I was driving my "family man" car down the road and like a ray of sunshine I saw parked at the Berglund in Salem, My new Car. I sprang quickly from my car and was approached by two of the most knowledgeable sales people I have ever met. One of them, Josh I think it was, owned one the same cars I was buying and even thou he was not my salesperson, he helped me get to know my new car like a champ. The sales manager was very helpful and I was in and out of the financing quick as a flash. My sales person even got me a drink when I was parched and his lightning fast speed won him the sale. So as I pulled away in my "single guy" car I waved to the gents at Berglund i felt my eyes tear up a little but I quickly recovered as I knew I would be back someday. High Velocity Paintball

    The parts department ordered a OEM tail lamp for my car and after they received it in said it was the wrong part and they could not return it. I have to pay $65.00 for the part and I cannot use either. I told them I did not think that was right to charge me for a brand new part (still in the box) that I cannot use but they said it was non returnable. I will not use Berglund again for service.

    The service consultant, Rochelle, was fabulous. She is well informed and very competent at her job. I had a mother in law traveling from out of town with car issues and she manage to squeeze us in with a very short wait time. The mechanic was equally helpful and friendly. When I am in the market for a new car I will return. In fact Rochelle tried to sell me a new Ford Fusion. Thanks for a great experience, I believe sales starts in service. ABS

    I was in the market for a used Mazdaspeed3. I did most of my negotiation over the phone with Tim Mays. He was very professional and willing to answer lots of questions. We came to a deal and I drove up and picked up the car. It was a very stress free experience and I feel that we both got a good deal. I would buy again.

    Berglund was very patient and very accommodating. As with most dealerships I have dealt with in the past there was a bit of back and forth. I understand that they want to hit a number for you, but often that is done by putting your term out another year or more. I never like longer terms personally. if you have good, very good, or great credit you should go, bargain, and be willing to leave if you don't get the terms you want. Overall they were very nice

    We test drove a ford focus and we loved it. It was loaded with everything. Our salesperson Joe Pugliese was so helpful. He was not pushy and we liked that. Can't stand a pushy salesperson. We traded in our truck for the car. I didn't think I would like going back to driving a car but I love this car. Joe was so helpful in showing us things on the car. He programed our phone's to the car so that was ready to use. Everyday we find out something new on the car. It is so nice. I would highly recommend the ford focus. It is an awesome car. The whole staff at burglund ford were very nice. If I ever go to get another vehicle I will be going back to burglund.

    I was searching dealerships in VA, MD and NC for the best deal since there are only a handful of Mazda dealerships in SWVA. Despite having a somewhat difficult to find car, Berglund was able to offer me a similar deal as the dealerships in more urban areas, and it was nice to deal locally. The staff was very responsive to email, and was willing to negotiate online to some extent, which made the actual dealership experience much less stressful. The car was in very good condition inside the showroom, and they even handed me actual tags to put on the car when I drove it off the lot. Not having to go to the DMV for tags or title was worth the price of admission alone.

    I was interested in purchasing a new car but not sure of what I exactly wanted. I went by many dealerships to preview cars and found my way to Berglund Ford Mazda to check out the sedans that Mazda offered. As soon as I reached the only three sedans that were left I was approached by a representative by the name of Titus. He asked what I was interested in and I told him I was just looking. Even though I told him I was just look he educated me about the 3 Mazda sedans that were left, the difference between the three and that there was an extra percentage off because they were the last three. He was very nice, he didn't force the car on me. I wasn't ready to make a decision but because of his generous attitude and how he educated me about the car I went home and did some research. He made a lasting impression so I returned for a test drive, loved it then decided to purchase the car. Titus was very helpful and a pleasure to work with. Since I am a female and a first time car buyer he took the time to answer all of my questions and made sure I understood what everything meant and I appreciated that. Outstanding service!!!!!!

    I explained to Joe that we had done our homework on the internet and That I only needed a little info. He was very informative, interested but not pushy. I felt that we were treated fairly and with respect. So many dealerships treat you as if you are stupid and that they can pull the wool over your eyes. My husband and I are both in finance and understand the financing side. We also believe that every business is entitled to a fair profit. There is no need for dishonest gaming on either side. So this was an excellent experience from Joe, Randy and Charlie. My new Focus is our 4th car purchase from Berglund and we may be trading Chris' soon at Berglund!
