Swope Hyundai Hours
It all began over 60 years ago, on the corner of College and Mulberry Streets in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. The Swope Fam
ily of Dealerships got its start in a small building with a one car showroom, two gas pumps out on the curb and a new car inventory consisting of just three vehicles. In 60 years we have grown from the smallest dealership in Elizabethtown to a member of the largest dealership group in Kentucky.

No hassle, great experience, staff was very friendly, and never once felt pressured to buy during my visit. Do some of your paperwork online before you... go if possible, things go much quicker. If you lucky enough to get Philly Burdine as your contact person, you wont be disappointed.
I'm so impressed with the employees at this dealership. I had been disheartened with my search to find a dependable used vehicle, finding that they were... much more expensive than the funds I had available. Then I met with Sales Representative, Brandon Gaskins, who searched for other options for me. With the current rebates, he was able to offer a brand new Tuscon, at a price I could afford. I was pleasantly surprised that a new vehicle was even a possibility for me. The GSM, Ray Santiago, further helped me with advice on extended warranties and maintenance contracts. The finance manager, Brandon Marker (?), explained the options of financing and GAP Insurance. All three employees were very helpful, and provided me with a rewarding experience, buying my very first new vehicle. Kudos to Swope Hyundai, and their helpful, friendly employees!
Brandon and Philly we're great to work with. They got me into the car I wanted for the price I needed, were super personable and provided awesome service.
A great team who handled my new Santa Fe purchase efficiently and professionally. Thanks gentlemen! Great from the financing process to driving off the... dealership!
I have been buying cars at Swope for the better part of ten yeas. My sales team Mark and Jeramy were the best anyone can ask for in Ratcliff. Not only... do they know their stuf they go the exrtra mile to make sure that you know eerything on your car and how it works, Their follow up is great, I would recommend the dealership to anyone. I live in Simpsonville KY and drive there for service and new cars, I pass up a lot of dealerships on te way because I know what i am oing to get in Ratcliff
This is my second car I have purchased in the last two years from this dealership. I can not express how wonderful this experience was. Kevin and Brandon... went above and beyond to get me the price that I wanted to spend. I would definitely recommend them to my friends and family. Great group of people!
I am writing bout the disappointing customer service I received from Brandon and Kevin Karr at your Swope Hyundai World dealership in Elizabethtown, KY... on July 31, 2018. These gentlemen (and I use that term loosely) need immediate retraining on how to treat customers. On my first visit on July 30th, Brandon was pleasant and helpful. We were there to buy a car for my 17 year old daughter and test drove a 2011 Honda Civic listed for $7000. We liked the car, but it was out of our price range and Brandon pulled the old used car salesman trick to ???go ask his manager???- that schtick really should be retired! When he came back to say that the best they could do would be $7000 which would include taxes and fees, without telling me exactly what those fees would be, I was ready to leave as that was still a bit more than I wanted to pay. He convinced me to take the car overnight as I had told him that I wanted to have our mechanic check the car out and that we lived in Prospect, KYan hour away. He was fully aware I was having it inspected by a professional mechanic. In retrospect, he should have told me, that regardless of what our mechanic found, that your dealership would not stand behind the car and ensure that is was safe and in top shape if the mechanic found issues. Our mechanic found numerous issues with the car- $2000 worth.. Many of them could be cleaned up (I assume) with a quick tune up at the dealership???s shop. I was surprised that they would sell a car without having it properly serviced, as I would personally have my own car tuned up and ensure no major mechanical issues before selling it, and I???d expect the same from a professional dealership- at any price point. I fully expected that we would be able to work something out that was reasonable and fair to both parties when I returned with this report. When I came to the dealership on July 31st with a friend who is more knowledgeable about cars than I am, I presented Brandon with the printout that my mechanic gave me. I was not asking or demanding anything at that stage, but as a professional salesperson myself, I expected at the very minimum civility and professionalism. Brandon displayed neither of these, and he was immediately aggressive, hostile, dismissive and condescending. He acted as though our mechanic was making things up when I assure you, our mechanic did not stand to gain anything by not giving us an accurate report. Many of the items on the report could have been discussed and probably we could have agreed to some ???fix??? but there were 2 serious, safety and mechanical issues, a fluid leak that was undiagnosed as well as a suspension control arm issue, that would need to be addressed. In what appeared to be disgust, Brandon said he would have to get his manager to come talk to me. After a ???power??? delay, the manager came in, his name was Kevin Karr. He was rude, dismissive and as hostile as Brandon was. He said that your dealership would do nothing, it was $7000, period. I have many times had to tell customers they were not going to get what they want, and there is an art to doing this. It must always be done with respect and civility- not rudeness. I was shocked at how I was spoken to. I politely thanked him and left. I have no idea where the rudeness and condescending attitude came from. Were these 2 employees of yours behaving in a discriminatory manner because I am a woman? I can???t imagine any other reason. I do not believe that a man would have been treated in this way. Regardless, no customer should be treated rudely, especially when I was simply sharing what our mechanic had found and asking (not demanding) what could be done in order to have a win/win situation. by the way: Don't buy the 2011 Hond Civic they currently have for sale. It needs $2000 worth of work that they are unwilling to fix.
Kristy was awesome! She met us in the parking lot while we were driving looking at cars. We told her what we wanted and she directed us to them. Went... for a test drive and we were sold. She showed us everything on the car, inside and out. This was the top of the line Santa Fe which was out of our budget, so she worked with Brandon on getting us the Sport edition at the price and payment we could afford. We only had one problem and that was there weren't any Santa Fe Sports on the lot so they would have to get one. We were shown the colors and chose Marlin Blue. This Santa Fe had to be brought from Spartansburg, SC! So we got the car we wanted at the price/payment and awesome package deal, getting the color we wanted was a plus! Thanks Kristy and Brandon! Rae and Wally Crosno
I was not hounded by the sales personnel when i arrived. I was able to get a vehicle that I really liked.even with my credit history. Sales and sevice... outstanding as always
Kristy was one of the easiest people to work with. From the beginning she always made sure i knew everything i could possibly need to know. After finding... the car, she worked with me as much as she could to make sure i absolutely loved my car. I was very impressed with the dedication to make sure that i left completely happy and i couldn???t have made this happen without her and her help.
