All I can say is “buyer beware”, and do not do it here. I’ve had 2 transactions with Quality Cadillac of Alton, IL; in the first, unbeknownst to me and... undisclosed by the dealership, I was sold a car which had been branded by the manufacturer as a lemon. This fact showed in a Car Fax 3 years later when I attempted to trade it in; the Car Fax I had seen when purchasing the car originally at Quality Cadillac was an abbreviated number of pages which didn’t reveal this important information. I was forced to enter a second transaction when no other dealership would offer any value on my trade in due to this branded Car Fax. (Quality Cadillac didn’t disclose and/or admit to the branded title in this second transaction either, as 3 other car dealerships did when I attempted my trade-in elsewhere.) In my second transaction, the window sticker describing the car options was missing so I couldn’t read what was included on the car - I had to rely on my salesman for information. I made the error in proceeding with the transaction anyway (this was my fault) to later discover some of the options I thought were on the vehicle were not. I have a nice car, simply not the one with all the options I thought I was getting in this second interaction. (I certainly got more than I was bargaining for in the first transaction!) I also find, when price shopping at dealerships within a 30 mile distance from Quality Cadillac, I’m paying more for this car than I would at nearby dealerships with more included options, but again, the branded title forced me to deal with Quality Cadillac only. I have contacted this dealership (owner, manager and salesperson) with these concerns and complaints attempting a resolution, but I do not receive any response except stalling - understandable since they have a signed contract, and I have no other recourse. Needless to say, I will not interact again with Quality Cadillac of Alton, IL (and likely, not Cadillac / GMC as a whole) due to my concerns over this dealerships ethics in doing business. Caution!!
I am very sorry you are unhappy with your 2019 Cadillac XT4. Since 1958 our goal has always been to completely satisfy our customers, so I researched ...your transaction to see if we were at error. I retrieved the title to your trade in and it is not "branded" as you feared. A title search does read that your 2008 XLR was repurchased from the original owner because of a poorly fitting retractable roof. The repurchase from so long ago did not affect the resale value as we proved by valuing your car so high. I do not know how there was confusion on the equipment level. Our Certified Cadillac sales person sent you the factory build sheet before you came to see the XT4 and he spent much time with you explaining each feature before you decided to purchase. All This said, we will do what ever we can to get you the vehicle you now desire. Early production is limited but as vehicles arrive we will inform you what is available. As a long-time fan of Pontiac vehicles, I had spent several weeks looking through the vehicles available through Cars.com when I came across a 2002 that... caught my eye at Quality Buick GMC Cadillac in Alton, IL. I sent an e-mail inquiry and was called back in short order; their internet sales manager was very personable, informative and helpful in the purchase of my vehicle. Purchasing a car long-distance can certainly be difficult predicament but Quality Buick GMC Cadillac made this much easier by sending me great deal of information about my car as well as shipping information and total costs including tax. I would certainly recommend them!

Before making a 10 hour round trip drive to this dealership, my husband and I had been in communication (for weeks) via email and phone with a salesman... and the sales manager regarding a particular pre-owned Porsche. We are looking for a vehicle with specific features and wanted to make absolutely certain that this one had them before we made the drive. After lengthy communications with the sales team, we thought that we had finally found it. We made the trip expecting to purchase this vehicle. When we arrived, the car was ready to drive. However, it did NOT have the features that the sales team told us that it would have, which was a deal-breaker. The owner was very rude when the salesman asked him about the car (since he has been using it as his every day vehicle, the salesman thought that he would be able to answer a question). The vehicle also has another 2000 miles over what is advertised. The sales manager was very rude as well, and blamed the salesman for not giving us accurate information (we also had a detailed conversation with him). He also said, "That's why there is a disclaimer on our website", and blamed the salesman, "you know how the millennials are", even though he was involved in the verbal inaccuracies about this vehicle. He was not apologetic and verbalized that they didn't really care if this vehicle sold, because the owner liked driving it. I would give this dealership 0 stars, but that isn't an option.
