Kyle Jackson and the team at Royal made buying 1st new car in 30 yrs a snap. Did it mostly electronically with a few phone calls. My new Forester was... delivered on exactly the date promised. Kyle did an outstanding job orienting us on all the wonderful features. The paperwork was ready for us and we were in and out in no time. Looking forward to our future relationship. Well worth the drive from Indianapolis.
Terrible sales experience. Purchased car had AC issues and after 3 visits they couldn't diagnose problem in service. I ended up taking to Eldon's in Columbus... and they found the leak and damaged condenser within an hour. It's now out of the 3 month warranty so I'm out another $1500 to repair in addition to the trips made back to dealership. I will never step foot on their property again.
Ease of transaction and Joe wasn't pushy at all. Also, the car suited our needs exactly. Thanks for your help, Joe!
Poor customer service, dishonest and condescending . Please take your business to Indy. Managers change the numbers on you as the deal progresses. I... have purchased a lot of cars and have never been so unsatisfied.
I drove through the lot to look for the new forester to see what it looked at in person. A man named Chad walked in front of my car and stuck his foot/leg... in front of it. It was very rude. I will not go back there.
Bought 2011 BMW 3 series from them. Under priced and now I know why. Car trim falling apart around the doors. Was told two recalls were taken care of and... when I took the vehicle to a BMW dealer for service was told they were not done and they had to do it. Had to buy new tires and wheels and the front tires were replaced but created a shake on highway speeds. Couldn't balance the tires because wheels were bent. Rear shoke blown out, engine undercarriage cover cracked and BMW dealers asked me what have I been running over. At first a top trim piece popped off while driver and I called Royal east.....they said it happens all the time just take it to a BMW dealer and they will replace it. Yes, at $276. Time for me to call Royal and go to avenues if they sold my a $10536 piece of junk.
We needed to replace our 2014 Forester that was hit and totaled just before the 2019 Foresters were arriving in showrooms. Checked the Internet and only... two dealerships within 200 miles had the color and trim level we wanted on order. The local Cincinnati dealer we had visited must have figured they had us over a barrel and quoted an Eprice that was the same as the MSRP. Phoned Joe at Royal Subaru on the Eastside in Bloomington IN to see what they wanted for the Forester they had on order. He asked what we thought would be a reasonable price and said he thought he could meet our offer but would have to check with his manager who happened to be sitting next to him--didn't even put us on hold--just covered the phone and got the okay. The entire negotiation took less than 3 minutes and saved us over $3,000. The hardest part was waiting two weeks for the first of the 19's to arrive. Joe also spent nearly an hour on a chilly day without a coat showing us how to work all the bells and whistles on our new and improved Forester when we picked it up. An exceptional experience from start to finish.
I was told if anything happened to my used car they would "make it right" I was told a key would only cost me $43 when its going to cost me $350 I was... told a story about a customer drove off the lot, blew a transmission, and the gave that customer an additional $2500 for what they paid for the vehicle to trade up with I was told the dealership mechanic looked at the car when a mechanic did not. A week later my car is pouring oil out of the engine and the dealership manager told me its an As-Is car and its law. I know have a $6000 yard ornament. They tell you lies so you buy a car. STAY AWAY. The manager accused me of "misunderstanding" what the sales man said, and that all of my claims did not actually happen. I guess I'm just another dumb customer they see as a payday with legs.
Good salesman (Kevin) , easy straightforward deal, small but friendly small city dealership. Can recommend without reservation. No complaints except... the doc fee.
The salesman was very friendly but not pushy, the paperwork went smoothly and everyone remembered your name immediately. The facility was very clean, coffee... and snacks were offered if wanted.
