Heat shield was poorly replaced after an oil change. it feel down and broke a transmission line. They charged me over 550 dollars to fix it. Bought four... cars there never again.
Gave a 1 because you can't give lower. Worst service I ever experienced. Got a recall for airbag with Ford truck. Called Causeway gave my information... and was told it would be a few weeks to get the part. After received a call that the part was in I called to schedule an appointment. Took twenty minutes to make an appointment. Spoke to appointment person who needed all my information, then told me it would be a few weeks to get part. Reiterated that I was informed they already had part to which she said there was another recall and I needed to speak to the service writer. Waited on hold till Pat was available. He told me to schedule the appointment and sent me back in queue. Scheduled the appointment inquired as to how long the repair would take and was told 1 hour. Arrived for my appointment a little after 7:30 it was crowed with other clients checking in. No problem that can be expected. Finally get into the bay and I was told to go to Pat. He takes a call while I am approaching and I wait about 10 minutes for him. He takes my information and informs me it will be ready in the afternoon. I inform him that the women who made my appointment informed me it would only take 1 hour, I have no ride and was planning on waiting in the waiting area. He tells me they have over 50 appointments today. I tell him that nice and why I made an appointment for 7:30 this morning. After I have been in the waiting for 1 and 1/2 hours, someone else, I guess the manager approaches me and informs me they have not got to the car yet and it will be sometime because they are getting a lot of people coming in early for their appointments because of the bad weather. I ask why they would take appointments after me since I had a 7:30 appointment. When you are in the waiting area you can see the vehicles as they are waiting in queue to check out. I see my truck is 3rd in line to check out. The check out the other 2 vehicle and my truck is the only vehicle in the bay. Shortly after that they pulled anther car along side my truck and Pat checks that car out. Then they pulled another car alongside my truck and Pat checks that car out. Then they pull a truck behind my truck and Pat checks them out. Finally after 4 hours Pat checks me out. How stupid because the truck behind had to wait for me so they could leave. No management control over department, no communication between people and the appointment women running around trying to calm all the customer down who were complaining. First and last time for this dealership.
I have been dealing with Causeway for many years but only the last 2 with the Ford service department. In the beginning things were not bad but over the... last year service and getting an appt for service has declined. I guess they sell too much volume now and cannot accommodate their customers. Maybe they should think of hiring more people if they find some that are qualified and possibly expanding their service center. After trying to make an appointment for 2 days due to their failed phone/computer glitches I went to dealership to make an appointment for regular service and a recall. I had to wait 3 weeks for an appointment because the recall needed parts and a 4-5 hour time slot. I brought my truck at 8am on my scheduled appointment. Supposedly it was to be done by early afternoon. I never received any calls from Pat Magee who was my assigned service writer. At 4pm I had lift to the dealership figuring either my truck was done or close to being finished. Upon arrival after waiting for Pat to finish his paperwork with previous customer for another 15 mintues (Pat is slow as molassas on computer) I was informed that my truck was never worked on and that they would need my truck for another day. Ok, I understand things happen but no phone call, NO LOANERS. So after a visit to service manager to discuss how poorly thing were handled he told me that he was going to have tech work overtime and my truck would be done by the morning. Morning came and by 840 am as usual no call from Pat Magee, who definetly needs to be re- trained with customer service skills because he has absolutley none. Pat now informed me that everything was done except the wheel alignment which was being performed now and that it should be ready by 930. Ten mintues later he calls back and say it will be closer to 10 and he will send shuttle driver to my house an pick me up. At 1040 am no shuttle, no call from Mr Personality so I again call. Pat tells me he will send shuttle now and pick me up. 20 minutes later shuttle arrives. Upon arrival at dealership as usual Pat is in slow motion doing another customers paperwork. He totally ignores me, (customer service?) After 15-20 minutes waiting for him he now gets my paperwork and tells me due to my issues they will do oil change for free and discount the wheel alignment down to 99. Rather than argue this point I just wanted to pay and get out of there after dealing with this for 2 days and figured I would call Ford Corporate and Ford dealership manager. Pat told me my truck would be right out. For whatever reason my truck was not coming out. After another 15 min or so I became impatient and asked loudly where my truck was located?It must have taken 25-30 min for it to finally come out. What happened here? Seems like truck was probably not even done and they rushed it through???? I start to drive towards my home and my truck is now not tracking right due to the wheel alignment which supposedly I needed because it failed test upon entering building. Drove back to dealership and spoke with service manager again and he took a test ride with me. He claims all work done to spec but he did feel truck was a little off. He offered to refund my payment for wheel alignment and rotate tires back to original postion as he felt it was a tire causing problem. Very funny I did not have this problem when I brough the truck in, and never had a problem from any of the previous services done every 5 k miles. I guess at this point I will bring it back to Chapman Ford about 35 miles away and let them check it out as they did the last 3 service appointments because I was unable to get an appointment from Causeway 3 miles down the road. I will never go back to any of the Causeway dealerships to buy or service any of my cars or trucks, this was the last straw.

This facility was one of only a few in the South Jersey area to have any Focus ST's in stock, let alone a half dozen! I found the car I wanted, and shooting... numbers didn't take that long, and in about 2 1/2 hours time from start to finish I headed home in my new 2017 Focus ST. I highly recommend this place to any friends/family looking for a new car.
