    I attempted to purchase a CPO Explorer from this dealership recently. I took a test ride and was ready to make a deal after sleeping on it and attempted to negotiate a deal via email. The online sales staff is not equipped to negotiate a deal. Their only function is to get you to come to the dealership to talk to a manager. I then emailed back and forth with the sales manager multiple times and was told that my offer for the Explorer was way too low and that I probably wasn't comparing apples to apples and that I had to have been pricing an XLT with FWD instead of a Limited with AWD. I'd done my research, I was comparing apples to apples and I knew what the True Market Value was for the vehicle and the price I offered was fair. They use Edmund's to pull their auto descriptions for advertising their cars online, but evidently they don't believe that the TMV from Edmund's is a valid tool. I bailed on the deal and looked outside the 100 mile radius that I was originally searching. I found the exact same model year, color, trim level AND the added bonus of the Power Panoramic Moonroof... for about $700.00 less than my offer to Beau Townsend. They lost a sale and Liberty Ford in Vermilion gained a new, and very satisfied customer. I honestly felt like the sales staff at BT thought I was an idiot who didn't have a clue about car valuations and they were there to "school" me to the error of my ways. Maybe they were having a bad day, maybe they just prefer not doing business with women. Who knows, I just know that I'll never consider this dealership again.

    These guys are great. Came out to greet me when I pulled up. I told them the truck I was interested in and he took me right to it. I was told all about the features and encouraged to take it for a test drive. Fast response to my trade in price and price of the new truck with financial details. These guys are great. No games played here. It was like buying a car in the old days. Great setup.

    Beau Townsend had a very wide selection of new and certified pre-owned cars to choose from. Made it easy to find the exact car I wanted. Justin Jacobs (salesperson) was very friendly, factual, and up-front about the prices/features. This is the 4th car purchase that my family has used Justin. Not pushy at all. Felt very welcomed by all the staff. F&I guy was a little sketchy when it came to sales tax since I was purchasing the car in Ohio and registering in Indiana--one form had one amount and another form had a different amount (off by $200+). F&I guy wouldn't investigate why values were different and said I shouldn't worry about it.

    overall very satisfied, quick in and quick check. Repairs done quickly although the problems I am finding with my V6 ecoboost always seem to have a tech bulletin saying, "yes that is normal for that engine"????? slipping transimission and missing and idle rough on cold start engine ARE NOT NORMAL!!
