Lost a returning customer
Good - They answered when I called and were honest. Bad - everything else.... I had a check engine light come on and I took it to autozone to have them read it. I then called Shottenkirk service. I told them I had the diagnostic code and they too confirmed it. They quoted me $1,500 to replace the fuel pressure pump! Another place in town quoted me $500. ($1,000 difference) I went to pick up my car because I obviously wasn't going to have them replace it for that price and they handed me a bill for $80 (diagnostic fee). I said that was ridiculous because I already told them the diagnostic code and autozone does it for free. Bottom line.... their costs are ridiculous and the $80 diagnostic fee was disrespectful. They just lost a returning customer for it.

Terrible business relations
Will never deal with them again, drove 250 miles to buy a truck when we test drove it, it had serious problems. They wanted us to pay 250 for u joint and labor to put it in. They ran my credit through every little off the wall bank. We were told that the truck was good to go and had been inspected, if we had bought this truck it would not have made it home. Worst experience ever.

Horrible
If there was a zero star button I would give zero star today was less than desirable I called ahead of time to get some info first because it was a 2 Hour Dr. from where I live and was not told that this was an as is vehicle when I got there to the test drive turned on the heat in the vehicle to realize that it didn’t work and asked if it could be fixed before hand because I have children and it’s winter time I was told they weren’t even gonna mess with it exact words I will never shop there again and they will never have my business.

I was from a long distance and was able to do everything remotely. Emily G was the person who helped me and I think the car is in great shape as described. Lonnie the GM personally called me and walked me though the number on my trade which was a solid and fair number. Everyone was super nice the used car manager, GM, and sales person i worked with (Emily G).

DO NOT DEAL HERE
Went in to purchase a used truck. Found the one I really wanted 2013 Ford Limited addition. Filled out all the paperwork for the loan send it off to my credit union. The next morning as I was leaving work I noticed that truck drive by me so I called the dealership they sold it out from underneath me and didn't care or say sorry one bit. I called my credit union and was approved to buy it but had to cancel the loan. One of the worst business transactions I have ever had in my life.

I scheduled an oil change and tire rotation for Oct 25th at 12 pm. I arrived 10 minutes early and was told everyone was out to lunch (dont know why they scheduled for lunch time. About 20 mintus after 12 they took my truck back to the shop. I also had a slow leak in the left front tire (which had been "fixed" once already by them). At 1::20 my truck was done (or so I thought). The service advisor said they resealed the front tire. When I got to the truck I seen the tires were NOT rotated and I did not see that the tire had been resealed as I could not see where the tire was "swabbed". I went back in and talked to the service advisor and she said they did not rotate the tires due to the front tires were in better condition than the back and the tech said he would advise not to rotate. I can see no difference in the front or back. Advisor said she took the rotation off and did not charge. (I had a discount card w/free tire rotation). THEN when I started to drive home I could smell oil on the manafold. When I got home I opened the hood and seen a large oil spill on the drivers side of the engin. POOR scheduling, and even worse service. Terry Gibson customer #223362 invoice 371175

Speechlese
I called these people in the morning. They took all my info about my truck for a trade in. I waited 3 hours and texted them if they sold the truck what was taking so long. He responded an hour later saying he was busy and would get to me later. Pretty sure i was ahead of them and had money to put down for a deposit. At least show people respect and tell them hey, its gonna be awhile because you arent priority if you call by phone.

We were interested in a Honda Pilot they had at Shottenkirk Chevy. Had to call to see if it was still available, since we are 2 hours away. My husband spoke with Tyler Jung, and that's who we asked for when we in to the dealership to look at it in person and test drive it. Tyler was nice. Then some other (sales?) guy came and talked to us. Keith was more like a fast talking salesman. Lots of talking. My husband offered them $1,000 below their asking price, cash, and Keith acted offended. Told us vehicles were flying out of there, and there was no time for negotiating...yet we only saw two other people (a couple) looking at anything the whole time we were there. And then a third guy came out, Bob. 3 guys were available to assist us, even though they were so 'busy'. Keith and Bob really gave us the feeling that we were wasting their time, like we were rude/crazy to expect they'd come down on the price. They stood up the whole time while we sat at their little lobby table, looking down on us like we were naughty school children. Tyler actually sat down with us. Later Tyler took a paper up to Bob to see what the best they could do was, and the price went up almost $600 with all their fees, including $200 for nitrogen filled tires. So we left. It was sort of awkward, no one really said much. We also didn't like how they wanted to know right away if we planned on financing through them, like maybe if you're not financing through them, that affects their treatment of you. A week later the Pilot was still on their website, so my husband called to see if they'd reconsider his offer. He first asked if it was available, and they said yes. When he explained who he was/why he was calling they said that it had actually just sold. It was still on their website later. He called again, asked a sales person if it was available. They said yes, they were certain it was available, was he interested in it? Again he explained who he was, was put on hold, then the Pilot was again 'sold'. I'd never go to any Shottenkirk dealership again. We liked the Pilot, but the customer service needs work. We shopped with Joe Machens BMW in Columbia MO, and they were nothing but nice, and pleasant to talk with. We ultimately bought a Highlander from Kirksville Motor Company in Kirksville, MO, and they were also nothing but nice. NEVER acted like we were wasting their time. And they got our business.
