Luke Himler is a great salesman. We were in the market for a tow vehicle with decent gas mileage. Luke was knowledgeable and very helpful. He made our... buying experience hassle free. I purchased a 2014 Dodge Charger RT from Bill Martz at laurel valley motors. Bill was very knowledgeable throughout the entire sales process. The model... I wanted needed to be brought from another location and bill took care of it immediately. I was offered a very fair trade in on my car and then provided with detailed information on the financing option and payments. Bill then took me out to have another look and test drive on the model I was purchasing. He gave a thorough review of all options and how everything In the car worked. There was no pressure at all and the process was very enjoyable. Bill and brant handled the situation with no pressure and let me decide what I preferred for financing/options/etc. it was enjoyable buying a car from someone who knows/loves cars as much as I do. I plan on purchasing from Bill and laurel valley motors again and I have recommended my family and friends do the same. Bill, Brant and the team at laurel valley make the car buying experience very enjoyable.
First, I hate shopping for cars. Let me tell you that is because of past poor experience with dealers, this is NOT the case at Laurel Valley Motors. They... want you to buy a car but will not be the typical "car dealer". My family has purchased 2 cars in the past 2 years from Laurel Valley Motors and our experience was low-pressure, kind and helpful. I was in a time crunch and Bill Martz and he did his best to get us out the door with NEW car in hand, happy customer, happy dealer.
My wife and I were recently in the market for a new car and decided that we would like to test drive a new Dodge Dart GT. Although there is a Dodge dealer... here in our town, they did not have a car in stock comparable to the one my wife was interested in. As a result, we went a few more miles down the road to Laurel Valley Motors, who had a couple of GT models in stock. Our initial plan was only to test drive and then to shop around for prices once we decided whether or not she liked the car. We were greeted at Laurel Valley Motors by a member of their sales staff, Bill Martz. We explained to Bill that we were interested in test driving a Dart and maybe talking some numbers but had no intention of buying on the spot. Bill said that this was no problem and allowed us to select a car for a test drive. Although my wife liked the car, neither of the Dart GTs on Laurel Valley's lot were optioned to her liking. Bill was extremely helpful and searched local dealer inventories to find a car that better matched what we were looking for. We discussed the possibilities of ordering the car directly from Dodge and also of taking one from the lot if they could offer it to us for the right deal. Bill went to the back to work up the numbers. Surely the numbers would be skewed to show that it was better deal to take one on the spot from Laurel Valley's lot, right? Wrong! Bill came back with honest numbers showing that, in our case, there were actually savings to be had by ordering directly Dodge! After a little more discussion we decided to head home for the evening and discuss our options. At this point Bill stated that his sales mananger would like to come out and see us to say "Hello" before we left. Here it comes - the high pressure, "What can I do to send you home tonight with one of the cars on my lot" sales manager, right? Wrong again! The sales mananger was every bit as polite, helpful and low-pressure as Bill Martz! He thanked us for stopping in, told us that would be happy to help no matter which route we decided to go (buy from lot, have car brought in on dealer trade or order from Dodge) and told us to go ahead home to think it over and come back when we were ready. He ended his brief appearance with the statement, "Thanks for the opportunity to earn your business". After these interactions with the sales staff it was clear to me that you would be hard pressed to find anyone better to deal with to buy a new car. After some discussion at home, we were able to find a car optioned to my wife's liking at another Dodge dealer approximately 100 miles away. We went back to Laurel Valley Motors on Thursday evening to discuss having the car brought in on a dealer transfer. Bill was able to work up some numbers that were to our liking and we went ahead with the order. At roughly 2pm on Friday (the next day!), Bill sent an email with a teaser picture of the car to let us know it had arrived. We went in that evening to close the deal. Bill went over the available add ons and warranty options with us, again in a very helpful and low-pressure fashion. As a final courtesy, Bill walked us though the MANY conveniences (particularly the electronic ones) of our new Dart. Bottom line: If you're interested in a no-nonsense, no games, low pressure sales staff that is genuinely interested in putting you in the car that you truly want (even if it isn't one that's on their lot) for a fair price, you can't go wrong by stopping in at Laurel Valley Motors.
I bought my 2013 Charger at Laurel Valley Motors. My salesman was Bill Martz and I would definitely go back there and will definitely ask for him! Bill... was nice, funny and straight forward. He didn't try to talk us into anything we didn't want. He just told us about the products and left the decision to us. He was great to work with and the car is awesome! I purchased a used 2013 Blacktop Edition Durango from Bill at Laurel Valley Motors. I purchased the vehicle site unseen. When I arrived the vehicle was... as described over the phone and as well from the great photos on their website. The whole process was fast and simple. We finalized the deal over the phone at 12:15 in the afternoon as I was 1hr and 45 minutes away from their dealership. They got me approved in minutes with a great rate and had the vehicle ready when I got their cleaned and detailed as you would expect. I was driving home with my new Durango just before 4 pm!
