    Took our 2015 Acadia to them for a accurate diagnoses of a Evap Leak (PO442, PO455), since a GMC dealer should be most qualified, correct? After three... unsuccessful attempts to diagnose the problem and handing me outrageous estimates to replace parts they deemed bad, I installed the OE parts they recommended myself for a fraction of their parts prices and we still have the exact same problem. Turns out they were just stringing me along to see how much revenue the collect on the problem. On the last service visit, they told me that the grommet on the fuel tank pressure sensor was torn and leaking, but then changed the story that the sensor wouldn't calibrate once I told them I wasn't paying them $400 to replace the sensor. They tried to charge me over $400 to change that sensor that they obviously had already removed before calling me for the approval of the charges. Turns out a new OE sensor did not fix the issue either, so that would have been $400 flushed. From what I understand from some research, GMC and the dealers know this is a issue on all of the Acadia's but GMC refuses to cover anything under warranty and most of the Dealers string the Customers along to get all they can out of the repairs. All this condition does not affect the performance, but it does turn on the MIL light, which disables the remote start. Another scam by the Mfger's to force you to go to the dealership and collect hundreds for something that has no affect on the performance of the vehicle.
