    I do not recommend this place at all if your going there to fix your car by the mechanics. I bought a in 2017 ,a 2017 Chevy Trax, and was told I needed... a brand new engine. How is that even possible when I have proof of oil changes and regular up keep. They didn't want to honor my warrenty. I went to 2 mechanics and they told me I definitely dont need a new engine. I needed a new engine valve cover, spark plugs, engine modules, and wheel alignment. That was no where near the $8500 the dealership quoted me. This place is a rip off. They told me they removed my engine, that was a lie the 2 mechanics who looked at it said this does not look like a car whose engine been removed, but it looks like they disconnected tubing and left it like that. When I took the car I could tell it sounded off. I was never that loud. The only positive about this place is the salesman Ronny. Hes great! He was helpful and never pressured me to buy anything.

    Dear Jessica, Thank you for bringing this matter to my attention. I appreciate what you wrote and the shout out to Ronny. I received the below respo...nse to your review from my Service Manager: "She brought in the car with a stalling concern. At first we found a purge valve leaking which was covered under emissions warranty. She came back a week later stating the car was bucking with a check engine light on again. Going deeper we found an issue with excessive blow-by (Air getting past the piston rings) in the engine. At this point we took the valve cover off to start doing extensive diagnostics and we found a massive amount of sludge in the engine. We asked her to provide record of maintenance, which she could not do. I believe she never changed the oil in the 35,000 miles she owned the car. She never claimed the 2 free oil changes she has with GM. With the amount of sludge in the engine we did recommend an engine replacement. In her statement, in my opinion, she is clearly lying about the repairs the outside shop did maybe besides the spark plugs, which would be a band-aid fix because the new plugs will get caked with oil in time and cause the same concern she has now. There's no way she had "engine modules" replaced either." Google/Cars.com is not allowing me to upload the photos of your vehicle's engine that we took. The hours alone to clean up your engine would be more than the cost of a new engine. This doesn't really leave us anywhere. We have a difference of opinion on how to repair your Chevy Trax. I hope what the outside garage did will fix the issue once and for all for the long term. Should it not, I would appreciate the opportunity to assist you further.     I brought my truck in at 6:30am and dropped it off. I got a call at 8:21am and was told that I would get a call back as soon as possible and the prices... for the truck to get looked at. At 11:56am I called to find out what was going on with my truck and was told someone would call me back. I called again at 1:05pm and talked to the manager and was told he wasn't planning on looking at the truck until 4:00pm. I explained that I needed the truck because it's my only transportation. He then said he'll look at it asap. I got a call back 20mins later and told me the possible problem with the truck. I told him to change the spark plugs and coil and anything else we would have to see about it. I got a call at around 2:00 pm and was told my truck was running with no problems and that the fuel system needed flushing, I said ok. I picked my truck up at about 4:45pm and was told by the manager to tip the attendant bringing out the truck so that he can "hook me up the next time I came". This was as I noticed that I was charged almost $500 just for labor costs. I will never take my truck back to this dealership. I was contacted 4 days later by a service manager and told he would detail my vehicle whenever I brought it in for services again (which I will never do)

    Dear Deemax, I'm horrified by our manager saying to tip the attendant. I spoke to our manager about this and he said the service writer said this to... you. The writer was reprimanded immediately. This should never have occurred and it muddies the goodwill we offer to customers. I spoke to our service manager and he has indicated your purchase was billed out correctly for the services performed.     I held off writing this review, because I wanted to be fair, but it is extremely difficult to turn the other check when you pretty much have been bullied... by a corporation and the dealership. If anything, I just hope I am doing a public service by letting people know how GM is not making quality products as they claim and how they let there dealerships run poorly. So on to my story. I brought in my daughters 2009 Chevy Malibu to East Hills Chevrolet in Freeport, Long Island to be diagnosed for transmission problem at a rate of $600. 00 just to diagnose the issue. After waiting 6 weeks (excuses below) it turns out that I need a whole new transmission 1. Week one there is a vehicle on the lift, “yours is next” 2. Week two Dominick the service manager is no longer working here and the transmission specialist has left, 3. Week three we have a few cars with transmission issues, again yours is next. Spoken by Mark, now the new service manager 4. Week four no reply from dealership. 5. Week five after calling GM customer support Ms. Sandra, e-mails the dealership and I get a call from Dawn the client relation person. 6. Week six finally someone tears down the transmission and I’m told I need a whole new transmission, a whopping $3,900 without GM assist. 7. Week seven I get the car back, but had to bring the car back due to windshield fluid indicator warning light, and the wheel well cover falling off while driving. I did extensive research and come to find out that there is a common problem with 2009 Mailbu’s, Equniox’s, Saturn’s that the wave plate goes and you cannot go in reverse, 3rd or 4th gear. The exact issue my daughters car is having. In 2015 GM made a special coverage adjustment to cover this issue, but my daughters car was passed over yet it is the same problem. I even checked the Nation Highway Safety sight and they have recorded complaints from other customer’s with the same issue that GM conveniently are not covering. This is a shame and should be investigated, why skip certain vehicles for that year when clearly others are reporting the same issue. It would be great if you can get East Hills Chevrolet and GM’s to fix the issue without cost to the customer

    Our experience went well. We were approached in a timely manner by Nelson Galeano. He assisted us with the purchase of our vehicle. He was well mannered... and considerate. His attentiveness was appreciated. There was some obstacles, however because of his kindness we sustained the process. In addition the overall experience was pretty good. The people were friendly and came across as if they genuinely appreciated our business. If I am ever in the market for another Cadillac I would definitely return to Paul Conte and refer it to others looking.

The service we received... was the best we could've possibly asked for. We drove two hours and passed many dealerships on our way to Paul Conte and it was the best decision we ever made!

    I went in to buy a new surburban for my daughter. I waited and waited for them to give my final price and when car would be available. No return calls... and no information provided. They told me they were very busy! I bought the car somewhere else. It was like dealing with a mickey mouse dealership. Worst car buying experience I have ever had
