Frustration Overload
I have bought 7 new vehicles from Security Dodge over the past 8 years, for both personal and business use. Over 4 weeks ago I had to have my 2019 Dodge Ram (10,000 miles) towed into the dealership as it wouldn’t start. Once there, I had to wait a week for a Master Tech to diagnose the issue. I was then told it was a faulty Starter motor and that it would take 2-3 weeks to get the parts. I asked for a loaner vehicle but was told they don’t do loaner vehicles anymore. I waited and finally last week I was told the part was in and the truck would be ready on Friday. Friday came and went, no call, no truck. I called on Monday, spoke to Max who told me that the new a Starter was installed but the truck would start. He told me that they were going to charge the batteries to make sure they were not faulty- but..they could only charge one battery at a time as they only had one charger in the dealership ( I couldn’t believe my ears ). So I waited all day today, again no call back, so once again I called the Service and spoke to Max. I was told the batteries were ok and at this point they don’t know what the problem is. Then I was told the Master Tech won’t get to it until Monday or Tuesday of next week. Again I asked for a loaner as my business is being effected badly by not having my vehicle on the road. I have been dealing with this dealership for many years and prior to this experience had no problems at all, but this is beyond ridiculous. I am due to trade this truck in as I change vehicles every 2-3 years for my business, but I am now serious considering switching to a F250, it’s just not worth the aggravation.
