This place is A++ sales and service.

This place is A++ sales and service. My wife and I had a great experience at this dealership. By far the best car buying experience I have had. John Davis, our sales associate, was very friendly and helpful throughout our transactions, went above and beyond to make the entire process smooth and stress-free. His professionalism, honesty, and genuinely friendly attitude made a huge difference. We took a test drive, decided on a vehicle (Ford Escape) and made a down payment. Later that evening we received a call from John stating they would not be able to sell us the car as it did not pass ?their inspection?, but he immediately checked their inventory for similar vehicles (this part usually takes forever) and found a vehicle in the same price range. The next day we returned to the dealership, took a test drive, and decided on the vehicle (a Jeep Cherokee Latitude). John made sure to communicate promptly and took care of everything that needed to be done to get the vehicle looking and feeling like new. We are very thankful for John and the staff at Sands Ford of Pottsville for going above and beyond. Very trustworthy dealership, highly recommend them.

My Bronco that I had for 2 months had fine cracks

My Bronco that I had for 2 months had fine cracks developing in the hard top as well as paint peeling off the hood vents. They had my vehicle for 3 weeks. I was called to come to the dealership to ?see if the paint was good enough?. It was not even close to being good at that point. After vehicle was fully repaired I got home and noticed the new hard top didn?t have the noise deadening material on the top. The dealership didn?t know what I was talking about. The next day they called and said they were going to order the material and would call me when it?s in. I called 3 weeks later and they told me ?yes it just came in, we were just going to call you. Had my car 3 more days for this issue. Loaner car was not ready for me when I brought my car in for the appointment and had to wait a hour and a half for a loaner vehicle to come in because they gave out their last loaner.

Go to Manderbach instead!

The sales people at Sands are great, however, the service department has gone down hill. I've been a customer for over 17 years and sadly will not be returning to Sands Ford for purchases, or repairs. They do not hold their techs accountable when they make an error, and instead pass the issue off to the customer; no matter the cost. I won't go into a lot of detail here, however, I will say I've filed a complaint with the Ford Manufacturer and there will be a complaint on the BBB site too. Sands Ford of Pottsville is supposed to be a state of the art dealership with high tech equipment etc, however, the error their tech has cost me could have been avoided with the right tools & patience; yet they tell me I need a new motor on a car with 80,235 miles. Ridiculous! Needless to say I had to have my car towed to another shop as they were not willing to #1 - admit their error, and #2 - provide any good will discounts on behalf of the dealership for their mechanic's error. They attempted (so they said) to inquire with the Ford Manufacturer about a Good Will discount and it was denied as my car is no longer under warranty; however, it wasn't a factory defect, it was a mechanic error so the discount should have come from Sands. I will say that's the first issue I've had with them like this, however, they made a similar error to another family member's car a little over a year ago. The service department has definitely gone down hill since Cheryl & Bob are no longer service advisors. Please know I am referring to the main dealership not Quick Lane.

Great buying experience

Friendly and not pushy. I was buying a used truck so I wasn?t expecting perfection. But they were quick to agree to make a few fixes, most particularly replacing the windshield due to a chip in the corner. They are also quick to respond to questions I?ve had after the sale. I would definitely recommend buying a vehicle here.

Suggestion only ... waiting area at Quick Lane is too quiet, (80's music great), maybe it's just me but if the customer plans to stay and wait 2 hours then make it more fun. I usually stay because I have no one to come and pick me up and bring me back so let the wait time be fun...let it pass by maybe by putting a TV in there with movies like Ford vs Ferrari, Talladega Nights, Thunder Road, etc. to watch. Also provide small vending machine- you only have a Kehrig . You have vending machines over in your sales area but why have your customers walk all the way over there. As for your services never a problem... as long as Bob Webber is there service is top with always looking over the concerns, addressing the issues, and guiding his team. Sands Ford is great all around with all your staff...love my Bronco too!!

Work was started on time and was completed in a timely manor. Informative, friendly service people. Clean,comfortable area to wait in while service work was done. You would have recieved all 5 star ratings if the person that did the emissions inspection would have filled out the back of the sticker before putting the sticker on the windshield.
