Smoothest Car Buying Experience

Low pressure sales, was given a great price without having to haggle. No going back and forth with a "manager" or trying to sell add-ons afterwards. Smoothest car buying experience I have had.


Great Volvo Dealer

Courteous, knowledgeable. Repairs were done within the day and late pickup was possible. I knocked off one star for the facilities because they are renovating.


Positive Experience

The buying process was smooth, the salesman was professional and the product was delivered without any problems. Second purchase from this dealer in 2 years and both times I had a positive experience without any hassles. The facilities were under renovation at the time.


looking for a new Volvo

Even though I could not afford the Volvo I really wanted at this time, they were great from the moment I was greeted in the showroom, gave me all my options while trying to keep me within my payment limits. I'll just have to keep what I am driving now for little longer than I will certainly be back.

Excellent experience at Smithtown Volvo

I have bought my first Volvo car from this dealer over 7 years ago. Since then, I had nothing but very good experience with them (both Sales and Service). Now, I bought a second car from Smithtown Volvo. My salesman had just the right amount of knowledge, courtesy, helpfulness, etc. to make my choice and decision easier for me. I just don't understand where the reasons for bad reviews of this dealership come from.


Dan {Service Advisor}, Extremely Knowledgeable!!!

I am giving a 10++ solely due to the gentleman that took my intake of my problems. This person is Dan. I just retired after 38 yrs from a Fortune 200 company were I was the Service Manager and would have loved to have Dan on my team. He handle my service issues on my 2016 XC90 professionally, and more importantly possessed a high degree of knowledge on all the issues I was encountering with my vehicle. He also repaired two problems that a different dealer, which has preformed all the previous repairs did not repair. I had received the run around from this other Dealers service team on several issues, because the lack of knowledge of the entire service department. I will only have my Volvo XC90 serviced at your dealership from this point forward. This is basically because of Dan and the unbelievable positive service. I would love to speak to someone from the Volvo Factory about this, as the previous Dealer had left me and my family basically with a Lemon vehicle and inadequate service.

Don't buy a car from this dealer!! Bad service and they give you loaner cars with over 150,000 miles on them. That's good business when you spend so much money!!!!! Buy elsewhere


Best Volvo Dealer on Long Island

I have been taking my cars here for over 20 years and I always have great service whenever my cars are in need of assistance. Wayne Johnson has always went the extra mile to make sure that my car was completed and ready for me in the time crunches that I require. If anyone is interested in getting a new or pre owned car I high recommend Georgetown Volvo for their next automobile.


Their Certified cars are not well inspected

I have only written 2-3 reviews but I felt I have to share this with the public. I had a terrible experience with volvo smithtown car service. I bought my car certified pre-owned, under factory warranty, right before I started my new job which kept me very busy for 6 months. The car was shaking at 70 MPH since I bought it. When I took it to service they never fixed it. I brought it up and they charged me $70 to balance the wheels and the car came back and it was still shaking. I took it to another volvo dealership and they told me the wheels are bent and it costs $120 per wheel. So I basically bought a certified pre-owned car with bent wheels and now I'm paying to fix them. Jesse works in service and he's a nice guy. Wayne, the service manager is not respectful and once he realized I have a complaint, he never returned my calls or messages until I called the national customer service. Ultimately I had to pay to fix my wheels and couldn't prove that I bought the car this way. Volvo makes great cars but this dealership is dishonest and I regret doing business with them.
