I was able to find the Acadia I was looking for at a fair

I was able to find the Acadia I was looking for at a fair price. As for trade we were taken advantage of from the start. An offer of $7000 on our 1015 forester knowing fair trade value was $10000 Treavor insisted it was worth no more. We did purchase the car with a $7500 trade. Now I don’t mind anyone making a living or a reasonable profit but that forester is now listed at $15000 doubling their money. Shady practices at best. Just stay away.

Hello John, It is very unfortunate that you feel this way. If your Subaru did not have a crack in the rear bumber, a leather tear on the driver seat, or rust on the liftgate then it would have been worth a lot more. It also needed brakes, an alignment and a new battery. We took into considertation the bodywork and rip in the seat on the appraisal. We did not know anything about the brakes, battery and alignment until after we took it on trade and had a chance to service it. Also, just because a dealership has an asking price doesn't always mean they get what they are asking. In closing, no one in this organization pressured you to take the deal we offered. You left here with smiles on your faces and even posed for a picture in front of your new car. Generally that means you were treated fair and with respect. Please give us a call if you would like to discuss this in length.

I refuse to get into a contest with you As I would be no match for you. Even with the repairs you listed normal wear for a 2015. It was well kept and serviced. Bottom line is I stand by the review as you still stand to almost double your money on my vehicle.

Stay away. They take advantage.

The upside is I was able to find the exact used Acadia I was looking for at this dealership at a fair price. The process past that point was the most miserable experience I’ve ever had in over 50 years of dealing with auto dealerships. The offer on my 2015 Forester was initially $7000 and they eventually added $ 500 to that knowing that fair trade was around $10000. Point is we did purchase the car we wanted and traded the Subaru which is on their lot for $15,000. I don’t mind them making a fair profit but that being said the entire process was a sham. Stay away.

Multiple people suddenly interested 🤔

I live 772 miles away, had my financing in place, and I told them I'd put money down on the car to hold it. We started the deal, and it was pending I sold a truck, which happened. When they closed sat night, the price of the car was jacked up 1500 dollars and all of a sudden multiple people wanted that car. Just seems to me like they arent a straight up dealership, they use the typical lines like our online price is our best price. And multiple people are interested in this vehicle, maybe true, maybe not, I know this isn't the only bad review and the way they handle things, won't be the last.

Hi Jesse. I appreciate your review but not only is it inaccurate, it is unfair. Columbiana Cadillac Buick Chevrolet does not "hold" vehicles for any reason. Your salesperson made that clear to you. I have a sales floor with salespeople trying to make a living. You have a truck that is pending a sale and any deal we might have made was contigent upon you selling your truck. How does that make business sense for this store to stop everyone else from selling the Dodge while we all wait to see what Jesse does with his truck?? I can't hold up my business while we wait for you to figure what you have to do with your truck. As for the price going up, it had nothing to do with you. We price our vehicles according to the market and the market changed. It didn't happen that evening either. I changed the price at 12:17 PM on Saturday the 7th and the car sold Monday morning. You weren't the only one looking at that car believe it or not. In less than 2 weeks we had over 8,000 people look at that car online. Not to mention countless phone calls and emails. I would suggest that next time you are looking for a car that is 772 miles away from you, have everything in order before trying to purchase a car. There isn't a dealer in the world that would hold a car for you while you figure out when you can sell yours. If you would like to discuss this further please call me at 330-482-3331. Thank you - Steve Tirabassi

Purchased a preowned Buick Encore on 5/20/22. Great service from Kenny DeSantis. Did not rush our decision. More than willing to discuss any vehicle we thought we might be interested in.

I had my truck in for an oil change and tire rotation on

I had my truck in for an oil change and tire rotation on 4/27/22 and I was completely satisfied with the work. I didn't have to wait long and when they called me back, I was pleasantly surprised that they washed it and swept inside. I'm so glad I changed to Columbiana Chevy. I would highly recommend them in the future. Excellent experience.

Not to be trusted. The birthplace and proving grounds of...

Not to be trusted. The birthplace and proving grounds of "the proverbial used car salesman". Integrity, good faith, fair play are not in their vocabulary. We reached an agreement on a car and trade, I had an appointment to complete the purchase. They sold the car to another buyer and canceled my appointment. Car shopper beware.

Bob, Thank you for your review although it is unfair and untrue. The vehicle you came in to see was just taken in on trade. It had not yet been detailed. It was given a quick clean because you were coming to see it. A full detail was scheduled. The transmission was not leaking oil either as the oil was just changed and there is an oil catch that catches oil when the filter was changed. When you test drove the truck and since the oil catch wasn't cleaned out yet, it blew the oil from the catch basin over the undercarriage. You didn't give us the chance to prove that to you though. As for your trade value, if we lowballed our customers then we would never take in a trade. That's why you are free to shop your trade wherever you feel. Lastly, your opinion is we sell junk. I can assure you that 95% of our pre-owned vehicles are either off lease purchases, local trade-ins, or customers selling us their vehicles. Almost all of which are still under manufacturer warranty. Having said that, we still safety check every pre-owned unit and offer an in house powertrain warranty that covers the powertrain for 3 months, unlimited miles. We do not sell junk and for every bad review, like yours, you will find 20 great reviews. I hope you find what you are looking for and I also hope that when you do, you take the time to leave a good review just as you took the time to leave a bad one.
