WORST CAR DEALERSHIP!!!!!!!

I have been dealing with a nightmare with the Maserati of Bergen County since 2/19/21. I, as a luxury car enthusiast and collector, was ready and excited to purchase my first Maserati. I researched companies on-line and found that Maserati of Bergen County appeared to be the kind of business that I felt comfortable supporting and as a fellow businessperson, one that promoted values that I maintain. They purported to “strive for perfection in all we do-each and every guest will be treated like a celebrity and extended our red carpet treatment…” Well, this could not be further from the truth!!! I purchased a vehicle that took several weeks longer to be delivered than promised and once it was, I could not accept the vehicle in the state that it was in. The car had an issue with its parking system, the odometer reading was inaccurate and equally disturbing, the vehicle did not have the necessary vitals to pass emissions. The vehicle had to be towed to another Maserati dealership, six hours from me, to be assessed and I had numerous, deplorable interactions with Maserati of Bergen County staff to attempt to resolve these issues. I was met with unprofessionalism, complete disrespect and acrid attitudes from EVERY point of contact at Maserati of Bergen County. The General Manager, Robert Chakanian, had the audacity to call me “stupid” and hang up on me. The Sales Professional I purchased the vehicle from, Eddie Murcia, attempted to not only deny my complaints of service malfunctions, but even tried to tell me that the vehicle had only been owned by the wife of the owner of Maserati of Bergen County, to try and further attest to its “flawless” condition. After numerous unsuccessful attempts, I was finally able to speak with the owner of Maserati of Bergen County, Mark Abaid, on 4/18/22. He seemed amenable to my requests for service and asked for documentation highlighting what needed to be done. I submitted written documentation from the Service Advisor of Maserati of Marin, highlighting EVERY service issue that needed to be remedied, and was willing to still accept the car, if Maserati of Bergen County would pay the $8,076 needed. I faxed paperwork on 5/5/22 and followed up by phone on 6/2/22, 7/12/22 and 7/13/22, each time speaking with a receptionist, who claimed that he did not have a voicemail and that she was passing on my messages. My final attempt to resolve this issue was on 9/14/22. I sent Mark a certified letter, making one last attempt, to allow him to make things right! I have yet to receive any further communication from Mark Abaid. After countless efforts to resolve this dispute, I am left with a vehicle that I cannot drive, countless hours away from my own business and family to try and remedy this and thousands in legal fees. If you are seeking a luxury vehicle and want to be treated honestly, respectfully and rest assured that you are purchasing a vehicle that you can trust and enjoy, DO NOT PURCHASE FROM MASERATI OF BERGEN COUNTY!
